Fun churro dessert from Leo's Churro Bar! The churros had great flavor and crunch. A churro sundae is the perfect size to share with a loved one, or can be a very indulgent treat for one. I'm assuming the churros are made fresh as the wait was ~15 minutes with no other orders ahead of us. Thankfully the downtown location offers fun vibes to chill and chat while you wait.
The idea was there but sadly the execution was not. The dough texture felt like it had been warmed up in an oven versus being fried. I wish they would be more creative with the presentation for the churros, like for instance the cookies and cream could’ve had some condensed milk drizzled, and the the strawberry shortcake could’ve had a more chunky texture or whipped cream. I do like the idea behind the business and will always support local merchants. I’m hoping they will...
Churros were okay here. I was craving some sweets and it did its job. Like how they have different flavors and ice cream if want. The service was pretty good also. It’s one of those hit and miss when comes with sweet cravings.
