Just moved back to Fort Worth so I would go there on a regular for the delicious food & job hunt. The owner pulled me aside as if I was his son & told me I wasn't allowed to sit there at his restaurant for hours at a time or use his restroom. I told him what was the problem & he yelled in my face he didn't want me there.Keep in mind I was a regular paying customer the days I went in there( and African-American if that's any importance to anyone). The food was great and so we're the cooks. But the owners were downright bs.

Fresh, delicious, healthy and beautiful food and an overall impressive concept! Was over here working for the day. I live in Dallas but if I lived nearby I would definitely be a regular. Staff was soo kind and accommodating and the owner is the type of beautiful Sunflower you want to take to a Lenny Kravitz concert, sit on the lawn and put your head in her lap.

I have been going to Lettuce Cook since the day they opened. I even used to live in the apartments right next to the restaurant, so I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have recommended them to many of my friends.
This time, however, was a completely different experience. I ordered my usual sandwich, the Turks N’ Durks, to go. Once I got in my car, I started eating right away because I was very hungry. After just a few bites, I realized something was seriously wrong—the turkey tasted spoiled. I even had to spit it out twice because it was so bad.
I called the restaurant to let them know, and they told me they would call me back, but I never received a call. Since I was still hungry, I decided to go back in person, hoping to either get a replacement or a refund. I even took the food back with me to show them that I couldn’t eat it. The cashier said it wasn’t up to her and that the owner would have to call me back, as he was “tied up.” I explained that I wasn’t trying to cause trouble, I just wanted to eat something else because my food was not edible.
At that point, the owner came out (clearly having overheard the entire conversation). Instead of listening, he immediately cut me off and said in a very rude and dismissive tone, “I’ve never even seen you here before.” Before I could finish explaining, he shoved $15 at me and added, “And do me a favor and don’t come back again.”
I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment—especially from an owner! To dismiss a loyal customer, accuse me of never coming in, and then tell me not to return instead of addressing the issue is unacceptable.
I don’t even like to take the time to write reviews, but this one had to be done. Sadly, after years of supporting and recommending this place, I will never go back and will no longer recommend it to anyone. Good food means nothing when it’s paired with such terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid dealing with this type of behavior!

I’ve enjoyed Lettuce Cook in the past, but my most recent visit was disappointing. The sandwich I ordered did not taste fresh—the meat in particular seemed old and unpleasant. We mentioned this politely at the front, but instead of addressing the concern, the owner became defensive and said not to come back. That kind of reaction to honest feedback was surprising and unprofessional. Wont be coming back.

I have attempted to come here 3 times because I have been craving one of the wraps. The first two times they were closed. Okay, thats fine. I get here today at 5:40 and try to order the Pancho villa wrap and I am told it cant be made because they are 10 minutes to closing and thats a hot dish. Says they close at 6.

It’s hard to find a place like this in Texas. I’m pescatarian and any time I visit for work I sometimes struggle to find healthier, veggie options. This place was a gem. Great service, great options and tons of take home options that made meal prepping easier. Highly recommend
