First let me say the sauces at this place are excellent and so is a lot of the food we got the other day. As mentioned in other reviews it is an old Denny's so that tells you what the ambiance is like. The service is also excellent. However, in some of their dishes they use some weird spices and I am not sure anyone is going to like them. the red cabbage and kraut had that taste and so does the goulash. I cannot make out what the spice is but it is not good in those items. The spatzel is okay as are the pan fried potatoes. The meat there is what really stands out in the main dishes. The fried mushrooms with the horseradish sauce are also excellent. My son and I differ on opinions about the potato pancakes. They are very thin not what I am use to and no onions in them. My son liked them i didn't like them as much. The helpings are generous on everything. They make their own sauces even down to the mustard which is he best mustard I have ever had. All in all I gave it a 4 star, but if they would change the kraut, red cabbage and goulash and whatever else they have that spice in and take that spice out of it I would have probably given it a 5 star just for the meats, mushrooms and sauces. I am use to kraut with a little brown sugar and caraway seeds. whatever they do with theirs is nothing like that it is just weird. I do hope you will go try it, it is an experience and be sure to get the mushrooms if you do.

Good food. Comparable to Germany, but not exactly food from Germany. Service was great!

Super easy non-pretentious German family diner. The waitress was very gracious and took care of my two boys and I very well. The food is great, the potato soup is beyond excellent. I love their red cabbage too, perfectly spiced. Also, these are giant German portions of food, my boys and I split the Jager Schnitzel and there's food left over. Love this place.

Really wanted to like this place! Decor and inside need a complete overhaul. Only 1 other customer there. It was pitifully sad. Food was mushy and plain tasting except for being extremely salty. My husband(who lived in Germany and is 1/2 German) and I will not be back. We can only hope it improves or closes.

Lots of space in this former Dennys. Very friendly staff. We each ordered a different dish - everyone enjoyed the different flavors. Really good food and even had a German beer - which I very much liked! Perfect for what I was looking for - something out of the way and with a different flavor palate. Would be happy to take someone here who is a connoisseur of German food.

They put the "little" in Little Germany. If you have ever eaten "German" food, know this is nothing like it. But it was a curious adventure. They put cinnamon in the red cabbage and it's oddly sweet and slimy. Cabbage should never taste like cinnamon. Even though the food wasn't great (unseasoned meat, slimy veggies) I thought, "well, dessert must be better". hahaha... I was wrong. There version of Strudel: it's literally some Crescent dough heated and covered in cheap apple pie filling. I have never had strudel that bad and I've been brave enough to try hospital strudel. I wouldn't recommend this place but maybe if you feel like an adventure. Server seemed like it was her first time ever waiting on a table but whatever, everyone has to start somewhere. Does have a large parking lot.

Been in there several times for lunch. The place is usually nearly empty, but today I was by myself. I was trying to tend to something on my phone when I heard someone whistle loudly and yell, "HEY! SHE'S TALKING TO YOU!" Apparently one of the waitresses was asking me a question while she wasn't by my table, and another waitress thought I was ignoring her.I am deaf in my left ear and partially deaf in my right. I have a hard time hearing if someone isn't close by. I'm glad nobody else was in the restaurant because I was incredibly embarrassed. You will NOT speak to me as if I were a dog and you will NOT whistle at me. It was immensely disrespectful. I am never coming back here.
