Admittedly, I have been critical of the food here over the last 15 years, but I will say, there has been a major improvement in the dishes. The last two times I came for lunch, there were many excellent dishes. The butter chicken, saag paneer, and beef Jalfrezi were spot on. The curry gravy is creamy and the meats are perfectly cooked. The samosa’s were crispy and tender, not greasy or dry. Give Maharaja another chance if you’ve been like me and didn’t like the food a few...
I’d reconsider the kulfi (ice cream from this place). I’ve tried it at other places but Maharaja’s tastes and looks like it melted and was then repackaged in to go cups. Super icy too.
I have been coming here for 25 years. Always had the lunch buffet and it always been so consistent with cleanliness, service and good food. A nice selection of soup, salad, hot dishes and a dessert or 2.
Never had an ordered dish from the menu or to go so I can't comment on that but the buffet may be the best Indian buffet in the Fort Worth area.
