Desserts addition: Banana pudding was good but the Bourbon sauce was a bit much. Kinda bitter tasting. They assemble it when you order so the bananas don't get brown and mushy. maybe next time I can request less of it or none at all. In my opinion the cobbler was more of a cake texture vs the pie crust that I'm used to but it was good. I just prefer more of a pie crust

5 stars aren’t enough to accurately rate our Mama Gina’s experience! The highlight of our trip. Don’t miss the sweet potato pancakes, shrimp and grits, and fried cabbage. Everything is perfect and Mama Gina is a true icon. You’d be privileged to meet her and enjoy her food made with love.
This was our first time trying Mana Gina’s. We ordered the croissant breakfast sandwiches and they were memorable. The seasoning was delicious and the pan sausage on the egg, sausage and cheese sandwich had really good flavor. The sandwich was served hot. We will be returning to try additional items on the menu.

Great hospitable, service. Several employees greeted and checked on us. Everything is made to order, something that I appreciate. So yes, it takes time (for you impatient people), but it's worth the wait. Got to meet Mama Gina herself. I love what she does for the community: feeding the hungry and providing kids with free books.

Mama Gina’s catfish was everything!! She was very hospitable and accommodating to everyone who walked into the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back.
