I had planned to meet a friend for lunch in Dallas but my plans changed so I looked for a place near Arlington with good home cooking. That’s how I found Gina’s. We both had the red beans and rice and it was amazing, but the sides were even better—my friends loved the fried (it’s not fried) cabbage, and I enjoyed the collard greens and candied yams. I-30 & Eastchase isn’t a place I get to often but I am going to find a reason to come back soon. This place was awesome!

Mama Gina's is the perfect place to eat. The atmosphere makes you feel so welcome. Mama Gina gives you a wonderful hug! My wife and I had the Mike D's Favorite. The omlete with the collard greens was amazing! I never had anything like it. The sweet potato pancakes are the bomb! I definitely recommend everyone stop by and enjoying wonderful food and excellent warm service! She even gave our toddler a wonderful story book to take home and a special dessert! ❤️ Thanks Mama Gina!

Mama Gina’s is absolutely amazing. The home cooking from scratch really reminds me of my grandmothers old school cooking. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food made from love. Mama Gina herself greets you when u come on . I felt welcomed and taken care of. And what I love the best is they believe in our lord god and savior. I now am a regular customer ❤️❤️

Was in town to do some business and searched restaurants in my area: I avoided fast food and chain restaurants and Chose Mama Gina's. Worked out for me better than I imagined. Had some delicious sweet potato pancakes, and excellent personalized service. Left to face my business obligations feeling happily full, and in a good mood based on my experience.

I just flew in from LA and was looking for a family-owned restaurant. This place was perfect. The chef is the owner and was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. I'll definitely come back before I head back to LA.

Mama Gina's is what we were looking for. We're on vacation and stopped in town for some home cooking vs big box restaurants and fast food. Everything was incredible and we did not go into a food coma after eating. I had the smothered chicken and it was literally fall of the bone chicken. My wife had the fish and grists and those grits were one of a kind. We will revisit when we are back in town. 10/10.

As soon as we walked in Mama Gina’s we were treated like family. Wonderful staff, excellent service, and the food! It was SO good! They said it was made with love and you could tell! Mama G, thank you for taking such good care of us! We will definitely be returning next time we’re in town.
