I had planned to meet a friend for lunch in Dallas but my plans changed so I looked for a place near Arlington with good home cooking. That’s how I found Gina’s. We both had the red beans and rice and it was amazing, but the sides were even better—my friends loved the fried (it’s not fried) cabbage, and I enjoyed the collard greens and candied yams. Mama Gina's is the perfect place to eat. The atmosphere makes you feel so welcome. Mama Gina gives you a wonderful hug! My wife and I had the Mike D's Favorite. The omlete with the collard greens was amazing! I never had anything like it. The sweet potato pancakes are the bomb! I definitely recommend everyone stop by and enjoying wonderful food and excellent warm service! She even gave our toddler a wonderful story book to take home and a special dessert! ❤️...

Mama Gina’s is absolutely amazing. The home cooking from scratch really reminds me of my grandmothers old school cooking. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food made from love. Mama Gina herself greets you when u come on . I felt welcomed and taken care of. And what I love the best is they believe in our lord god and savior. I now am a regular customer ❤️❤️
