We were seated right away! The server was attentive, checked on us several times. Food was served quickly, it was hot and delicious! The margaritas were great! The only "issue" is the guests at a large table very near us were over loud and noisy! It seems large parties should be seated in a specific area with other large parties! This did not ruin our evening; but, it was annoying! We will visit Rio Mambo again...for sure!!

We were on the patio, enjoying a nice quiet meal and having great conversation amongst the 4 of us. Several other tables completed their meals and then the staff turns on the LOUD music destroying the atmosphere!

The food was still good, but the service level and acknowledgement of the customers was not on par with the past. d A few weeks ago we tried it again and was pleasantly surprised by the improved level of service and general atmosphere. Today was a mess. It was Mother's Day, and the place was jammed. However, I had reservations and was still told we'd have a 45-minute wait for our table. That indicated ineptitude at its finest. We chose to move to the bar area, which was not that crowded and was supposedly first-come, first-served. Forty-five minutes later, we were served tepid soup and less-than-exciting tacos.

I had an issue with acknowledgment of 2 birthday's we were celebrating. Not only did I put in the comment/note section of the reservation section of the purpose of the celebration, I also (secretly told the front check in upon arrival). Neither made it to the waitress. We were celebrating a 70 year old birthday and also a 9 year old (which was the most important). While we always have excellent service-this was no different-BUT this was definitely an oversight. We would have ordered dessert, coffee, etc... but, because of the oversight and I waited well past payment of the check I decided it was time to leave.

Rio Mambo is a good and relatively reasonable price. The chips and salsa are good. They don't charge for them like other places. The steak is always good. We used to get the salmon weekly but they raised the price and decreased the portion size. We don't get the salmon much.

Our server and management was excellent. Two of our dishes had issues with one being the wrong meal ordered. It went back twice before it was corrected. The other dish was dry - fish tacos missing the sauce. Manager was very apologetic for the kitchen mishaps and compensated us for the errors. This will not prevent our party from returning there as we live the food and atmosphere.

I am highly allergic to gluten and I had a wonderful experience eating there tonight. Will be eating there again. it is very hard for someone like me to find a safe restaurant. I give them 5 stars.
