McAlister's Deli

Wonderful, Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Picture this, it’s icy roads and the whole nine, yet I have a craving for McAlister’s as it is my hyper fixation meal (don’t judge) I love this place, mom used to take us to the one in NRH all the time growing up, this place is my sentimental restaurant of choice. The part in ratatouille when the guy has the realization that the soup tastes like the one from his childhood? That’s every time I come to this beautiful establishment. Wonderful workers, very personable, and they truly care for their customers. When I’m asked 3 times if I want a refill and they actively take my plate as I’m done eating, my brother that is good service. I truly believe they deserve all the tips they can get while working in the icy conditions as well. I do hope they get home safe and that this location thrives. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep being awesome. 10/5 stars all good marks. Absolutely wonderful.

Good sandwiches, but they consistently ignore special instructions. This is the third order in a row where they’ve added honey mustard despite my explicit request for none. It’s frustrating to pay for food I can’t eat. I want to support this place, but I shouldn’t have to gamble on whether my order will be made correctly.

Always come for lunch with my co workers and always have a great time and great food. Jasmine the Asst. Manager is super friendly and helpful!

One of the workers was in too big of a hurry to clock out to fix her mistake. I order soup not a chili and when I politely asked why there were beans and no veggies in my soup she told me that’s how Veggie soup comes .. with no veggies? That’s crazy and false advertisement if you ask me. Then once I sat back down I see her clock out and walk out wi the he friends. So disappointed in what yall call an employee.

Nope. I ordered the French Dip sandwich. The service was fine. The sandwich was awful. All you can taste is the enormous amounts of salt/sodium. Couldn't finish. It would've been good if the beef hadn't been MOSTLY SALT. I won't be back.

I ordered delivery so take my atmosphere rating with a grain of salt. Though I've been inside McCalisters in Arlington tx. I never went to this Fort Worth location. My food was delivered on time thru Uber Eats. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich, 1/2 sweet tea lemonade, broccoli cheddar soup and a hybrid chocolate chip cookie & brownie.
My Cuban Sandwich was more of an interpretation of a Cuban sandwich, but done very well. The pork had southern seasoning instead of Cuban/Caribbean seasoning but still matched the intended goal of making a tasty sandwich. Generous amounts of meat and pickle were in the sandwich as well as a perfect application of mustard. Much appreciated. My only criticism would be Cuban sandwich bread is often crusty in texture and toasted. It was served with a soft bread which did alter the experience of a true Cuban. But as a deli chain making a typically homemade sandwich. It is of high quality and very enjoyable.
The half sweet tea and lemonade is honestly the ultimate in store bought teas and lemonades. Whether you buy the tea or lemonade or go half. You're getting a VERY CLEAN and refreshing drink, with no preservative tastes or excessive citric acid, a very light clean sugar source and an amazing balance of flavors, while offering consistency every time I order these drinks at any location.
My broccoli cheddar soup was very fresh. Perfect broccoli flavor and the cheese quality in this soup is superior to other chains. My only criticism lies in, there's plenty of disintegrated broccoli in the soup. I would like at least a couple of solid bits of broccoli to crunch on. But in terms of quality. It's top notch. And lastly the cookie brownie..it's on the sweeter side of sweet. The cookie is the inferior flavor obviously. It's true to being a brownie. But it adds a pleasant cookie texture in the chew. It could probably use a hint more crispness on the cookie side. But for all you chocolate addicts... It will not disappoint.
Lastly the price. I paid $22 before delivery & tip. Quality to price I think McCalisters is the better deal with similar quality to the competition. All things being equal maybe I'd have a different opinion on who to go to for a meal? But for the cost conscious. Your money goes farther here. The closest competitor charges $3 more and the most radical competitor charges about $9 more. The competitions pricing is not reflective of a big quality jump. You're just paying more, mostly. Consider giving business who respect your hard earned dollars.

Good salad

Jalapeno turkey crunch as good as always. But these folks knocked it out of the park on service....some tmobile special going on that they were not told of, and they were swamped! But kudos to the team working because they were giving it maximum effort!

Went for dinner on a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t busy at all. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was great with lots of selections. Only disappointment was finding that an item still listed on the poster by the front door is no longer being served — might be worth reviewing signage for accuracy. Overall, still a very good experience.
