I really enjoy coming here. There are so many reasons to not like La Gran Plaza. If I want to change up the scene. I come here. I always find something cute at MelRose and Ross. The music can be really loud and vendors can be aggressive. La Gran Plaza always has some sort of exhibit going on. Restrooms are down stairs and there's lots of them, including Family Restrooms. Bathrooms can get dirty but, I always see the janitors cleaning. This Mall can get crowded. I usually see large families walking around. Lots of teens walking around too. Parking spots are narrow and faded. The pavement isn't the best, a few pot holes here and there. Traffic can get backed up to and driver's are not as courteous. This mall gets a lot of attention. It's a popular mall in South Fort Worth. Check it out some time, you might like it?

(Translated by Google) Terrible service the lady who attends hair wero is very despotic and stole from us I gave her my card to charge us and I passed it 3 times and she said that no time had passed I showed her through my cell phone and application of my bank that yes He had made the payment and he kept insisting that no, it hadn't happened, he gave me some tickets where, according to what he said, the payment hadn't been made and I had to pay him again in cash, even though he insisted that it seemed to me that the payment had already been made. I charge with the card but coincidentally I only gave myself 2 receipts and not 3 when in fact I had passed it 3 times(Original)pesimo servicio la señora que atiende de pelo wero es muy despota y nos robo le di mi tarjeta para que nos cobrara y la paso 3 veces y dijo que no avia pasado ningun ves le enseñe por medio de mi celular y aplicacion de mi banco que si se acia echo el cobro y siguio insistiendo que no que no avia pasado me entrego unos tikets donde segun decia que no se iso el cobro y tube que pagarle denuevo en efectivo por mas que le insistia que a mi me aparecia que ya se avia echo el cobro con la tarjeta pero casualmente solo me.entrego 2 recibos y no 3 cuando en realidad la avia pasado 3 veces

Yeah so, the mixed reviews here can be divided into those who have never been to Mexico and those who have. I used to lead relief trips to border towns and La Gran Plaza is the closest thing to a Mexican market I've seen in the US. Most of the building feels like an older shopping mall that's a bit overrun with vendors and shops selling mostly familiar products.in a distinctly cultural style. Part of the charm of Mexico is the absence of a "zoning" approach to the organization of public spaces. You can eat, sell, park, walk, buy, sleep, whatever, wherever and nobody cares. The Plaza has this kind of style and it makes me feel close to a land that I miss visiting because of the dangers at the borders now.Truly the most like this is found in the center of the building, a multilevel sort of "inner market" that snakes narrowly along passages lined with businesses and vendors and spans multiple levels. Try some food you've never seen before if you dare. One shop has a line that winds around out of sight (I don't even know what they sell).Come with an open mind, come to experience a local taste of neighboring culture.

If you are anywhere in dallas area then make sure to visit at this plaza. Even if you don't want to buy or to eat anything here , its still worth a visit to experience the culture . When i say culture, I don't mean mexican culture but each floor of this plaza has its own culture. Basement is full of food places where you will find different cuisines. Middle floor is all about shopping prom dresses , cowboy and cow women clothes, boots, belts and a small play area for children. Top floor has barber shops and aesthetician services for really cheap prices. Mostly mexican shops and Spanish is spoken frequently rather then english. Its so colourful market and little bit crowded (depending on days) that you forget being in USA and get transformed to mexico downtown. I window shopped most of the time and it wasn't expensive at all plus you can bargain. Ultimately i got a beautiful pair of floaters for woman.

Neat stores but every one pretty much as the same type of things. The place itself could use some cleaning. The Mexican candy store was my favorite part.

Sooo I had this vision of La Gran Plaza that I would go and find some super cute, authentic, hand sewn Mexican style floral dresses, and tops. To my disappointment, all I found were rude vendors selling their Made in China, cheap clothing that they probably bought on Amazon. For real. There was a skirt I loved, $40, cash only, no returns. Made in China, felt horribly cheap. Brought out my phone and looked at the Amazon app, $13 for the same thing! I couldn't help but think they ordered on Amazon and jacked up the price. I like to support small when possible, but in this case...no thank you. I have my own Amazon prime account.Additionally, seems like nobody was wearing masks nor were they enforcing the mask law. I was also surprised to see the slides and play areas open during COVID. The entire mall just didn't seem very sanitary. I'd steer clear of this place.

Woah. This place is equal parts shopping mall, cultural dining, and beauty services. If you're looking to experience something new and Mexican culture, you've got to check this place out.
