Me and my friend decided to go to melt on Sundance last night after dinner. When we got there we were toward the back of the line and the people in front of us had been holding the door open in line. As we were in the awkward part of the line where you are not fully in the store but don’t want to stand outside, I was holding the door open. All of a sudden one of the working SCREAMED (with much anger in their voice) “close the door!”It was extremely embarrassing and everyone in the store looked at us. There was no sign that said the door couldn’t be left open.We immediately decided to leave and took our business to the great American cookie store that has froyo. Definitely not going back to this location.

Made waffle cones right in front of you. Also gave generous scoops of ice cream. Tastes

It was a fun late night ice cream run for us. The Cookie Crush was awesome! Everyone enjoyed our choices immensely, and we had fun sitting at the table to eat. The shop was full of customers even at 10 PM.Parking: After-hours street parking is free, but you will parallel park on the street, find a paid garage, or go to a paid parking lot.

A good mixture of regular flavors that are complimented by a rotation of experimental flavors like pineapple upside-down cake.

Flavors are spot on and they always have rotating seasonal flavors. Wish they offered a kids size but it's easy enough to take home and enjoy the rest later! Open late too which is a plus for an after dinner treat!

Portion size is adequate to the vessel being served. Price however is a bit higher than the quantity provided. Service was prompt and friendly. Although it was only I in the establishment. Ice cream is subtle. Not a punch in the face of sweetness that you would get from a chain ice cream parlor. Flavor is a little on the underwhelming side. Consistency of the ice cream is good. Just firm enough to be scooped easily. But I think in the TX heat you have about 45 seconds before becoming a drippy mess.

Seemed overpriced and ice cream was just ok.

Amyrah did a great job taking care of us. Very clean inside, and we appreciated the tip of dealing with the valet people.

Why are the reviews so good here? :( If you want an $8 cup of flavored milk this is your place! Very water downed milk shakes... And the flavors are bland...

Cashier was very helpful and patient while I figured out what I wanted to order! Food was awesome, I got a cookies and cream sundae with whipped cream and hot fudge. I was a little surprised that it was in a cup considering the price ($7+), but it was delicious and there was plenty of ice cream for only one scoop :)

Lots of great flavors including some rotating options to keep things interesting! Good but not the best ever - but definitely worth a visit when you're nearby and craving dessert!
