Met my fellow classmates for our 42nd Class Reunion 🫂. It was a blast but I mostly enjoyed being on familiar grounds. Oh my goodness, I hadn't been at MJC in such a long time, but it seemed not to have changed a bit. Still has the big beautiful tree 🌳 and the service was great. 😍

Love this place. The salsa is warm because it is fresh and cooked every day. Im a 49 year old who fell in love with Mercada Juarez at the former North Arlington location when I was 7. They have had the same great taste for over 40 years while others have risen and fallen. There are plenty of great menu items under 20 dollars. The Relleno is an awesome choice starting at 14 dollars and topping out under 20 depending on what fillings you choose.

We use to love eating here. It was a weekend thing for us. Husband and I went tonight and got our usual fajitas, the beef was way over cooked (burnt mostly), flavorless and very dry. Tortillas were cold and hard, sour cream tasted like plastic, there was maybe 10 beans in the cup of charro beans. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Nothing like it use to be.

Food was delicious 😋 we had the flat skirt steak and carnitas plate. Salsa not spicy but Great taste!! I bought a jar to go. Flour tortillas also home made style and they are NOT stingy with the amount they give you.
