MEZCALES MEXICAN BAR AND GRILL

This is my favorite place to eat in Ft Worth! The food is amazing and the hot sauce is on point! The sweet tea is the best. Usually, I can only find 2 out of 3 in a restaurant but here, they have all bases covered!! I try to come every Friday afternoon if I can. If I could, I would eat there daily. I always get the skillet cheese enchiladas with beef (which is so tender and the best I've ever had) I have them grill my onions a little longer and no peppers. Then, for dessert, the chocolate tres letches is the best dessert I've ever had that's Mexican food. As far as Mexican food dining goes this should be the best in the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating. The waitstaff is wonderful, They deserve big tips!! They do a lot of work for you. They really go above and beyond and the team seems to all work well together. When you see that type of synchronicity you know they love what they do.

Just left there. We had good experience. They are still working on the wait staff but that is going to take time. The food was great and everyone was nice!!

We have been going to Mezcales for the past two years every week unless we do not make it into Ft Worth. Every meal we have eaten has been amazing!! The atmosphere and the service is top notch!! All waiters, waitresses, always great you with a big Texas smile.

The front room bar seating area is so hot!!!

We come pretty regularly and typically enjoy our time. Today there was gnats everywhere which was off putting. A dish we get Everytime we come was also insanely spicy compared to usual and we like spicy foods but this was unbearable. Service was super slow and we didn’t get drink refills (hard when you’re dying from your mouth being on fire) didn’t finish food and waited so long to be able to leave for a check it wasn’t busy. I’m not sure what was going on but I hope this isn’t a new norm.

Service price location can't be for a dinner of 2. Right under $60, no alcoholic drinks purchased.

Best Avocado enchiladas I've ever eaten. Great place !!!AAA+

Wonderful food! The waitress let me know that the rice had chicken stock in it, and the beans had to be replaced to accommodate my vegetarian needs. I enjoyed the avocado enchiladas with a salad, which came with some delicious ranch. My favorite part was the sautéed vegetables!

We were not aware they were closing at 10 we got there about 9:15 they took our orders rushed us then told us the kitchen was closed so when our food came out me and my daughters plates the meat was so rare we could not comfortably eat eat !! Note to self next time they should just not take us if they are not cooking the food right ! We asked for our meat medium well I did eat all my rice thou not worth $130

Really reasonable prices, especially for current restaurant prices. It is like they skipped the last 2 industry price hikes. Good for them!
Extensive Tex-Mex menu.
Salsa is pretty good, chips are a little greasy.
Food is not bad but IMHO could be better.
The wait staff were nice and friendly.

If you ask me my favorite place in Fort Worth, it is Mezcales. From the great service to the great food! We’ve been regulars for a few years now. ANYTHING with the steak fajita meat is over the top! Wonderful atmosphere and always busy! Go see for yourself!
