My Lan Bistro

Went to pickup a to go order and when I was in the process of paying, I saw two roaches crawling in the sink directly behind the cash register. I will not be returning and most importantly I did not eat the food.

First time visiting this location on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was a packed house — always a good sign. Even so, we were seated in about 1–2 minutes. Service was extremely fast and efficient.

Food came out ultra quick and everything was delicious. We ordered the egg roll, shrimp spring rolls, gyoza, and the #73 combo plate (I believe) — all were fresh, hot, and full of flavor.

Staff was prompt, friendly, and on top of everything despite how busy it was. Really impressed overall and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended from a friend, the food didn't disappoint. Very typical sterile Dallas Vietnamese restaurant. Service want that good only because the waitress didn't speak good English and was so soft spoken we couldn't hear or understand her. That's ok, food made up for it. This place is the real deal!

Pho broth was basically dirty water, no richness or flavor. Very bland. The meat (filet and brisket) was low quality and tasteless. Eggrolls were good though and service was attentive but slow. I’d eat here again but likely order from the grilled menu instead.

Used to be my favorite Viet restaurant.. but service is going downhill really quick. They need to hire more servers. Very unorganized and chaotic… and the owner isn’t nice anymore. He seemed very annoyed when I asked him about my drink :/

Waited for service waitress took our order then went to a table where the patrons just sat down after us and took their order. We waited a very long time more than 15 minutes for sure and I went to check on our food time I was told it would be right out but during this wait the workers were setting up the table behind us no patrons sitting their I assumed it was for a worker their to eat. They had food on the table behind us ready to eat for several minutes. Patrons walked through the door and went and sat at that table behind us. Really not sure about how the food was ready before they even got there. Maybe the called in don’t know. But I did ask if they took reservations but of course no answer. Mean while the patrons that walked in after us was served before us and ordered pho we did too. So like what the heck.

Just had the worst customer service ever. There was no crowded at all and the 2 servers at that time still refused to notice us. After waited for 10 minute we asked if they would take order and one of the 2 came asked us what we want, WITHOUT giving the menu. We asked for the menu, he then went grab the menu and threw on our table WITHOUT saying a single word and turned his back away.

We left immediately. Such rudeness.

Food is always amazing. The service isn't something to brag about, everyone is nice but not very attentive sometimes especially with big families, but the pho and everything else is delicious my mom and I come here like once a month, sometimes every other week if we are lucky. We drive 40 minutes just to come here!
