I've been employed with Nana's since June and it's been nothing but joy. I've been in the service industry since 2011 and I can't think of a better place that has treated me like FAMILY!! The team working here is the FAMILY!! The customers who dine at Nana's Kitchen are the FAMILY!! The atmosphere is energetic (live DJ on weekends) and the food will keep you coming back for more. I am absolutely hooked on the black eye peas, greens, pinto beans and Mac and cheese!! Don't get me started on the fried food items 🙌🙌🔥🔥 Catfish filets are my favorite. The fried pork chops, wings, and juicy tenders are all amazing!! Cakes and pies are delicious. On Sundays Nana's Kitchen serves her special menu of Oxtails over rice, Smothered turkey wings, Beef tips over rice. Chicken spaghetti is also a fan favorite!! When you come to Nana's Kitchen you'll leave with a belly full of food and a heart full of love!! But hey, don't believe me...come see for yourself. We're open Wednesday -Sunday. See ya there!! ❤️

I paid 5.40 for velveeta. I have never had dry/ wet velveeta that leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth.

We went here when there was no dining area due to a fire so we had to get the food to go. The food was really good! BUT when I got ready to bite into my roll I seen that there was mold on it so, i checked all of the other meals and only 2 meals had mold on the rolls. So, I called and told them and she said that our next meals would be free. So, months later we went back and the dining area was now open so we went in and sat down to eat while I was on my lunch break. We ordered and I told them who we were and Nana said she remembered but only gave us 1 meal free which was meatloaf. Ok, whatever! We paid for the other meal I ordered fish. My husband got his meal and i sat there for an hour and was like where is my food. So, i asked and was told that they ran out of fish and had to go get some. Now I understand that things happen but COMMUNICATION is key. If I had been told that I would have just ordered the meatloaf and been on my way. I asked for a refund and seems like they had an attitude and she told me that it was coming up right now. I said no I want a refund. That is NOT how you do business at all. We even asked when we went in if they cater and Nana said yes, they have a food truck. We are having our 21 year vow renewal and wanted them. BUT NOW we will definitely find someone else that values their customers and their time.

I’m extremely disappointed. I stopped last evening for dinner and when I got home I was livid. I love to support black owned businesses, even though y’all be robbing us blind. I purchased smothered pork chop with rice, cabbage and Mac n cheese. There wasn’t an ounce of seasoning on the meat. Not one drop and I’m very sensitive to sodium so I never add extra salt to anything. I live in Crowley, so taking it back wasn’t an option. And on top of that , a piece of cake was 6.99!! I should’ve just went to Luby’s🤬

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same .The food was under seasoned , burned & my pork chop was dry even with the gravy on it. Not sure that I would visit again but wishing her much success.
Service and Servers was horrible and unconcerned about my food just sitting on the counter for over 10mins could have been more time than if I hadn't said something about what was going on but my catfish was now cold I can't speak for everyone but I want food hot not cold the servers really didn't care this was my first and last time NaNa but I did like the the the decor and atmosphere of the establishment

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She is such a humble person and very kind. She is a mother and prioritizes so very well. I also had the pleasure of meeting her son who is the chef. Top of my food experiences for sure. Soul food to comfort food I firmly believe anything you order would be more than what you’re anticipation about the place whatever you wanted all options would meet if not exceed the them. I’m blessed to say my overall experience was and has been very Good… 😊 it’s imperative that if you haven’t already been please do. I promise it’s Amazing as are the staff. I got two turkey wing dinners with sides. Got one full turkey wing and one was a half turkey wing. I did call just to let them know about it. No one said sorry or try to rectify the situation. This was our first time trying and we won’t be going back.

Chynadoll165 showed up checking in on us with much love, then went and brought out the QUEEN NANA HERSELF to our table and we became family! We found our forever soul food home.
