Edited to update…So sad!! Everything was awful except the potato soup.- The sandwich was soggy on the inside and too hard on the outside to even take a bite! The turkey is so minimal and doesn’t even cover the bread!- The tomato soup - I don’t know how to describe it but something was so wrong. It was brown! Like the color of pinto beans?? Tasted disgusting and I’m not usually one to be that harsh but wow.- The Greek salad…had potential but they drowned it in very VERY potent dressing. It was inedible. $23 for a half sandwich/half soup and a half salad/ half soup. One item was edible. Walked away from the rest. SO DISAPPOINTED!Sandwich lovers beware. Second time to come here and get an overpriced (albeit delicious) sandwich where they skimp on the sandwich fixings.

I have not tried a lot on the menu. My go-to is the chicken caesar salad. It’s simple but yummy! And the velvet cake was pretty great too.

I have been traveling for work supporting numerous operations in the supply chain world. In some cases, I work odd hours such as 3pm-3am. When working this hours, I often find myself going to a gas station around 9pm-10pm to get dinner. I saw that Newks Eatery was open, but closing soon. Normally when I go to food places that are near close, the employees will roll their eyes, be irritated and sometimes even make rude comments. That is not the experience I got at Newks Eatery. I was welcomed by the staff on the shift and I want to call out Janessa specifically because this is the only the 2nd time I’ve ever been here. Both times, I was welcomed by Janessa. She helped me decipher the menu and assisted with me making a decision on what I should try. I’ll do my best to arrive not so close to closing time, but do promise that I will make multiple returns to this spot. Not only is their staff welcoming and kind, the food is amazing!! 10/10 for sure.
Ellie was really nice , she recommended me one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had which is the Turkey Avocado sandwich. It was so good that as soon as I bit into it I felt like I was about to start floating away.

First time visiting Newk's Eatery, and we will definitely be coming back. Great menu of soups, sandwiches, and sides. We had the French Dip, Turkey & Avacado, Potato Soup, and Mac-n-cheese. The food came out hot, and everything tasted great. The bread for the sandwiches was fantastic with no shortage of meat and fresh veggies. The mac-n-cheese had been baked, and the top was crispy, while the inside was creamy and cheesy. The "cup" of potato soup was more like a bowl, and the Turkey and Avacado sandwich became my immediate favorite.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean, and while there were quite a few patrons inside, we could still have a normal conversation with no issues.Newk's Eatery is definitely a new 'go-to' for us!
