Bartenders ignore people at bar quite often

The grilled cheeses and sliders are delicious but the best part is the bartenders. I really appreciate Carlos and Mars. They’re great bartenders and look out for their customers. Nickel is a gem.

Order a michelada and never worry if you say dealers choice! They put you on! Connor is the man! Best pro I've seen in a long time.

We were with a group where our dear friend recently lost a family member. She was upset and using Nickel City to download and have a few drinks. One of our friends (not drunk or inebriated) just upset from a recent loss. The two bartenders refused the rest of the party because we had one friend that was more upset than the others. What type of place acts like that.

Our party was using this as a place to celebrate and mourn a loss. Very unexpected that bar service was refused for a crying and upset person.

This place is a must on all our trips to Fort Worth from now on! The staff was great, a very relaxed atmosphere, and the food was excellent. Don't miss the cheese curds!

Ordered one drink the bill on her tablet was $11 and I tipped $5. Somehow I have a statement for $25. If you wanna get overcharged this a great bar to go too.

Del Rey Cafe is exceptional. Tucked behind Nickel City, this food truck is easily serving some of the best bar food I’ve had anywhere.

I’ve tried the sliders, the cheese curds, and the wings—and every single one has been 5-star-plus. The sliders are perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, the cheese curds are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and the wings are outstanding—well-seasoned, juicy, and done right.

This isn’t just “good for bar food”—it’s legitimately great food, period. If you’re at Nickel City and don’t grab something from Del Rey Cafe, you’re missing out. Highly recommend.

Drove 20 minutes because it said open online, but arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday to find it completely closed. Fustrating

We used to love going here for a fried morty from the food truck out back. Recently dropped in before a show and after the door team (there were two people working the door together) let us in we stood in a long line at the bar about 4 feet away from the door team. After about 10-12 minutes it was evident we wouldn't be greeted or served at all so we attempted to leave. I was strip searched by the door team upon attempt to leave the venue, asked to remove my coat and bag (which i never had a chance to open, having not been given the opportunity to purchase anything) and my bag and person were searched for no reason. Especially given I had essentially stood at the side of the door team the entire time I waited in line, directly in their sight. This is not a welcoming or friendly atmosphere and I can find another place to sell me a mortadella sandwich without hassle. Caveat emptor, friends. This place has gone downhill.
