The food reminds me of a mall food court. Sauces are out of a jug- just corn syrup, thick, with minimal flavor. Same with the chicken and short rib. Squishy like it was soaked in corn syrup to make it more plump. Mac salad was bland, mostly mayonnaise. The rice was cooked nicely.
Did I finish my food? Yes, it wasn't inedible- it just was not authentic or anything to write home about. The portions are good though. The spam musubi was a point better than the rest....
Absolutely delicious poke at a completely fair price. Lovely folks working throughout, be it the cooks or cashiers. Katsu curry was phenomenal too. Can't wait to come get more tasty food soon!! 🫶
I had high hopes for this place, but it does not taste authentic or homemade. Ordered loco moco. Beef patties taste like they were frozen hamburger patties. Gravy tastes like it came out of a jar or gravy packet... Processed and salty. Macaroni salad alone was not great besides the fact that it not. Taste. Like. Hawaiian. Mac. Salad.
