One of the best On the Border locations I have been too. Very clean and great atmosphere. Many of the other locations I felt had gone downhill over the years. NOT this one though. The waitress was so friendly. They accidentally made my friend the incorrect enchiladas which the waitress immediately noticed. Even after my friend said it was okay and he would still eat them, she went out of her way to make sure they made them correct and brought him out the correct ones on top of the first order. That’s how you correct a mistake!!!This was my final eating location before I departed from the USA to leave the country for a year. I know most people would say, really? On the Border, but I’m so happy with my choice ☺️

Our waitress (Thelma I do believe was her name) at the Loop 820 Lake Worth location was absolutely amazing!! She was extremely attentive without rushing us! She made our experience well worth it! We will definitely be back!

The waitress was too stressed and overwhelmed to help us this evening so we left. Right off the bat she explained that she would get to us as soon as she delivered this other tables food. 10 minutes later I finally got her attention and asked for water. She said she would be right back. When she did come back she took everyone’s drink order except mine because she obviously decided I just wanted water even though I explained that the salsa took the wrong passageway. Eventually I was able to let her know I also wanted a cocktail which I ordered a martini with the dirty on the side. She told me they didn’t have olives or olive juice. We had been there previously and I received this exact drink order with no problem. She was very rude and just too tired to wait on us. We cancelled the other drink orders and left. We went to 2 other restaurants close by and all of them were packed and had a waiting time. Apparently all these people had been to On the Border and knew not to return. We had a very delicious and wonderful waitress at Texas Longhorn and will not be returning to On the Border again.

I am very disappointed well for this location, my daughter's & I arrived in where waiting to be seated the restaurant was empty there where like 8 parties & 6 maybe 8 individuals seated at the bar and it took like 5 maybe 8min for anyone to acknowledge us waitresses where passing by taking ppl orders or getting done with taking a order placing the menus back in the front not acknowledging us till finally I'm guessing the manager came up to us said table for 3 give us a few minutes why I see plenty of tables empty my daughter looks at me dad there table available I know comes back I ask for booth he said let me look waiting on a table to be cleaned he finds a table it has sticky red candy ? on it not sure what he meant by clean other then that food was decent rice tasted like it was sitting there for hours what saved the experience was the waitress kontrana I believe was her name she was very sweet very attentive.

BEWARE!!!!!! My husband and I were there last Saturday and had a couple of drinks and an appetizer at the bar. I can get past the slow service and I can deal with food that came out cold. What I cannot deal with is a bar tender who changed my tip. I left a 20% tip despite the issues above. However, the bar tender changed the tip to double what we left taking a 43% tip. She STOLE from me and that is unacceptable! Check your statements!!!

I felt an obligation to warn the public about this store. I was an employee for 2 years until dec. I brought these issues up with the gm Glan, and resulted in having less hours(from 40 to 15 weekly) so.. I Brought my daughter for her birthday. I got a beef big borderito. The rice inside of it broke my tooth completely off. The rice on my plate was rock hard. But. Because i worked there, and we ordered fajita meat, i couldnt get a discount. Or any help in that matter. And when i discussed mayb stocking the line regularly with fresh food so injuries like this wouldnt happen. i was met with contempt. It wasnt a big deal to management. And My hours got cut. Ant the store started looking horrible and dirty. Ive posted some pictures of the neglected line that they had been in the habit of leaving before i tranferred out from this store. Its disgusting. I did all that i could to help but could not report for fear of retaliation from this company.. Even notified deb lawson at hr and saw no results. So for your own safety you should avoid this on the border until new general management is selected. I posted pictures of the neglect which i also reported to the gm and km. They seemed uninterested. Problems continued and escalated. I no longer work for them and will no longer advocate for such a dusgusting environment for food. Not to mention the gm womt dust his air vents. Just has the dishwasher spray paint things white again.

This was literally the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Would compare to a jailhouse bologna sandwich. I will never go back. Rice tasted like it was boiled in dirty water. Queso came out cold. Have to have them re-microwave it. Beans were flavorless and running like a river through my plate. Cheese on my quesadilla wasn’t even melted. My beer took 20 min and there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Do not go here. Rant over.

Came in here because every other restaurant was packed and people waiting to get in.This place had barely any people and now I know why.Took forever to get my steak fajitas. The meat had no char at all, basically gray meat. Not many peppers or onions.Tortillas were pathetic, hard and crusty. The guacamole tasted like it had a box of salt dumped in it.Ice tea was fine lol.I won’t be back here!Appears the kitchen is full of kids and no real cooks.
