Fantastic food. I just love the puff tacos. Can’t wait to try the egg dishes.

A big thank you to The Original and their staff for a great night for 20, even though our reservation was for the wrong day. The service was great and a good time was had by all.

Still good but not the same atmosphere as the Camp Bowie location. The bar was our favorite there. I worked there in the early 1970's so it was a buzz kill for me when they moved. Not the same vibe anymore.

Wildly underwhelming. Imagine paying the extortionist prices of Joe T. Garcia's whilst eating some of the least flavorful salsa, queso, and Tex-Mex staples the industry has to offer. I'm not angry that it didn't live up to expectations; that's on me for believing what my eyes told me in photo form. I'm just disappointed that it cost twice as much as it was worth to find out such a hard lesson on paying for the location, instead of the pleasure. Our server was kind, and that is where the single star comes from, because she was decent. Wouldn't be back if forced at gunpoint.

This place chronically closes early. Update your hours if you don’t want to stay open until 10 which is what your hours are.

Tammy was very helpful. I purchased 14 quarts of pozole Verde for an after wedding party. The guests loved it. We waited in the bar area as our order was being packaged, reminiscing the El Rancho Restaurant days. The chips and hot sauce are still the same, and the cinnamon pralines.

We went yesterday for the first time. And I have to say, we absolutely loved it the waitress we had. I believe her name was Cindy was phenomenal. I have to say that because yeah, she was kind, efficient. Never let our drinks get empty or halfway. She was just super friendly. That's what made the whole experience good. And the food was really good, highly recommend.
