Tasha and Jupiter took care of us. Exceptional service the best dumplings in DFW. However, the real secret of this place is the desserts. OMG, go with the intention of making sure you get dessert.
Located in a historic 100 year old building and run by a wonderful owner, this is such a great local spot. So much of the food is made in-house with the dumplings taking the lead. They have a flight of dumplings you can get with an excellent assortment of options. Also got the bao buns which were the best I’ve ever had. There’s also a bar in the back. Definitely a great spot to visit for lunch or dinner and chat with the great owner.
Pantry on Magnolia is AMAZING! I did the extended dumpling flight and it was beyond my expectations. Some of my favorite flavors were not the ones I was expecting (looking at you, elotes dumpling).
I got a chance to sit and chat with the owner Natasha, and you could just feel her passion for food and people. That passion runs through every single menu item at POM.
