I have a great time here. Originally called the Peppermill Lounge, Hamilton Social is a great bar with a modern vibe and great live music. The new owner and his wife are wonderful people.

This is a nice clean bar with friendly and generous staff. This little joint has live music often and also a neighboring sister bar owned by the same owner. They offer a variety of food and drinks. This is as of now a CASH bar only.The patrons that come to drink are not respectful, I was a nervous wreck watching my purse and drink the whole night. I had a right to.... as a random person started to rummage through my personal belongings without asking. Luckily I witnessed this incident and managed to keep it under control. Hope Peppermill will note this review and take extra precautions about who frequently visits and their motives.From a confused and slightly raddled bar bum who likes a cold beer and a good crowd! One of my favorite places to go when I'm in my home state visiting. I love the bartender James and karaoke is good. Love the patrons who frequent and I have come to know them as family. There is even a covered patio in the back for smoking so the building isn't full of smoke.
I went here twice, I think. It's a dive bar, basically. The people were really nice, and they were really pushing for me to come-back, for some reason. If it were a nicer, cleaner, less smokey location, then I'd give it a better review. So, no problem with the people, it's just the quality of everything else needs to improve.

Their drinks were reasonably priced, and the pool tables are always free. One evening hosted four musical guests instead of just one or two. The venue is very comfortable, being able to sit close enough to the stage while still offering a pit to stand in if you wanted to.
