Never had such a horrible experience at a place. Walked in asked for a table for 2 for some reason hostess rolled there eyes looking annoyed. Was told 30 mins wait and gave my name and phone number. Walked back in an entire hour later after never receiving a text call or anything and let the hostess know. Once again. Rolled eyes. Looked at her friend next her annoyed. And told me they texted me after I informed them I never received a text once ans they did not text me they scratched my number off the card of table 71 and moved me to 91. A soaking wet high top that I couldn’t even put my hands on. Then after waiting 20 mins at this soaking wet table no service ever arrived so I had to get up and leave. They sat us at a table with no decor. No silverware. When we were walking to the table then person couldn’t look at us didn’t say hi. Nothing. And didn’t get a sorry or anything for them messing up my number and or not sending me a text and me waiting an additional half an hour. Instead spitefully sat us at some random wet table far away that a server probably didn’t even know was a serving table. Now it’s noon and ruined my entire Sunday brunch. Only have hateful memories of this place. Was a misory. What a shame.

We eat here once a week love their food and our toddler loves the proximity to Trinity River to run outside before and after eating at press. Trailhead chicken salad is one of the best salads in Fort Worth.

People were outside being served. That's one of the main reasons we go there because outside is so relaxing BUT the last 2 times we've been there the hostes said only the inside was available. Funny as we ate sooooo many passed our table to be seated outside. Did not get it so..... not a top pick for me anymore.

Overall, we wish we'd gone somewhere else. My wife ordered the crab cake salad and I ordered a café burger. The crab cakes were overwhelmingly 'fishy' tasting. We mentioned it to an employee as we were leaving and before we could finish the sentence, he asked if they were too fishy and confirmed this was his experience also. The burger was good, perfectly cooked, but lackluster. If we ever go back it'll be for drinks and the parmesan truffle fries.Couple of other things that rubbed me the wrong way:1. We were overcharged $20 for the crab cake meal. Management was very quick to fix the issue. Just annoying to have to mess with.2. The first time we tried to eat here, there was a line and the attendant took our name. He made sure to tell us there were 45 people ahead of us, it'd be at least 1.5 hours and once called, we'd have 5 minutes to return. No problem, so we went shopping nearby and 20 minutes later, we get a text that our table is ready. Figuring we had at least an hour to wait, we were too far away. So yeah, that's kind of on us, but we made decisions based on a bogus wait time.

Our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately upon arrival at a table outside. The service was excellent even though it was a busy Saturday evening. Everyone enjoyed their meal - avocado toast, brussel sprouts, salads, burgers. It was a pleasure to watch young children playing in the grassy area. We will be back.

Food is delicious! Atmosphere is loud due to popularity and location. Service was good, attentive, and friendly. We sat at the bar top and were never interrupted during our conversation. For café food, it is higher price than I'd like to pay on a recurring basis, but is okay for occasional outings with friends as a treat.Parking: If you can't find parking near the door, there is more open lot parking where people enter the trails.Kid-friendliness: I don't view the inside or food options as kid friendly, but there is an outdoor seating area and they do have grilled cheese.
