As first time customers we were highly impressed. My husband and I went to lunch with my parents and the food was delicious. My steak was properly cooked, tender, and it wasn’t thin. My mother had a special request for her quesadillas which they happily obliged. Everything from the guacamole to the rice and beans was fantastic. The service was perfect and the manager was attentive. They were having a promotion so he brought us over a free queso for the table. Although we didn’t eat out there the patio area looked nice and we will most definitely be back to check it out!!!
Best Mexican food in Fort Worth…..worst service and management in Fort Worth. We have been going since it opened. I feel management has changed at least three time. Friday night was the worst ever. Our food was delivered in shifts over 45 minutes. The server messed up on three orders . It was awful. The food was great after we got it. Not worth the drive to spend $50 on horrible service. Maybe I’ll drive to Weatherford.
The food at this location is great. It's a new building with a cool vibe and modern decor with outdoor patio. I have been 2 different times, one was on a karaoke night with a DJ named Ronnie, which was fun. Second time was on a Thursday. Both times we dined in for dinner. However, the service needs improvement. Both times we had to ask for refills on our drinks and salsa. First time (Thursday) we waited 12 minutes before 2 different wait staff took our orders. It was a bit confusing because we weren't sure who are wait staff was, the girl or the guy. Anyway, we finally received our food 40 minutes later.Second time, karaoke night (Friday) service was somewhat better. We ate on the patio in early November (it was still warm) but after waiting an hour for our food, our enchiladas were lukewarm. We may try the Mexican Kitchen one more time. Hopefully the service will have improved.
The food is absolutely HOT & FRESH! Very Seasoned & Tasty! The issue is, they need to hire more cooks. The waitress told us the last time we went, they only had 2 Cooks, and they were packed! We have been twice, and this is the second time, we had to wait awfully long, just to be greeted and have our order taken. It is in Samson Park, and is very authentic in the Hispanic culture. With that being said-, It is also very welcoming, and cultural. I like the live band/ karaoke that plays outdoors with the bonfire on weekends. The chandeliers are absolutely beautiful ?. The food comes out freshly cooked and hot, each time we went, we have never had cold or old food. Morgan is a Great Waitress and is attentive to your needs. I do recommend you try here at least once. I would have given them 4 stars, if it wasn’t for the staff shortages.
Parking: Parking can be limited if the Event Center next door is having a gathering.
We have gone here twice in the last month and both times the service and food have been excellent. I also really like the fact that you can order off the lunch menu every day including weekends. Times are hard so people are looking for good deals. The staff has been very friendly and good service. We will definitely spread the word on this gem.❤️❤️
First time here, the place is ok not sure how new it is but we found it on Facebook and gave it a try, the Fiesta platter had flautas,, nachos and chicken quesadillas and queso. The platter was pretty tasty. For dinner I got the 3 enchilada combo it was just ok the chicken was the best of the three, the cheese enchilada was cooked to long and was hard. I got a wild berry margarita it was too sweet it was over powering the tequila. The margarita was $14.50 we had to order another shot which was 1800 tequila and another 7.50. That means I paid 22$ for a margarita that just didn't cut it, my husband had a regular one and also had to add a shot to it. They definitely want to work on those. We may give some of their other food a shot but will drink water.
Chowed zesty chile relleno, creamy queso & spicy chx enchiladas. Food outshines their many chandeliers. Cannot wait to savor everything on their menu!! Serious surprise find!
We stopped by on the weekend that they opened and we were impressed with everything but especially their delicious food, which It's authentic Mexican food, and that is hard to find nowadays. This is the third time that we stopped by for lunch and it keeps on getting better. Don't hesitate to give them a try, you won't regret it.
Came in with my family this weekend and had a very annoying experience. The food was okay, not the best but not the worst (just my personal opinion), my wife and mother in law really enjoyed their food. The staff were cursing and talking about personal drama right in front of the table as we were waiting to get the attention of our server. Management needs to have a talk with their employees about professionalism in the work place! We might return again and hopefully have better service because my wife really loved the food and the prices weren’t bad.
My husband and I visit this place quite often... and we don't get tired of it!! We love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. I am 100% Mexican, and going out to eat Mexican food is always a challenge (according to my husband) because I am hard to please when is about the Mexican (REAL-Mexican) food, the taste, the spices, the presentation... etc... there's always "something" missing.. but at Pura Vida... we enjoy every dish, every single one! Big praises to the Cooks at Pura Vida!

Seriously the best fajitas in town! We had the Fajitas de Veracruz special and Omgosh they were so amazing. The service is top notch. Joe the manager comes and greets you makes you feel like family. Mario our waiter was so attentive and personable. It was a whole vibe. Wonderful atmosphere!
Respectful service. Reasonable turnaround time for the food. Food is delicious. Really enjoyed the salsa. Will return for more.
Went for dinner. It wasn't very busy but people did keep showing up. Chips and salsa we're very good! Staff was friendly. Food came out nice and hot. The fajitas tasted a bit off I felt like it was missing a spice. My rice was good. I ordered the Monterrey chicken and it was plate licking good!! I will be back to try the bar drinks on my next visit.
Margaritas were awesome! Food was amazing! Service was the best. Cody was absolutely amazing and made sure we were taken care of. 100% will be returning.
I love the food and I am a very picky person to come on food the services was slow but it's ok at least my food was still hot when it came to my table and also the margaritas was excellent! I went on Saturday with my son and daughter in law and then on Sunday with my mom she also loves the place and the patio so I will recommend your place for dine and entertainment! Thank you! Keep up the great work ?
