The food has always been good here..you get 2 big servings of fried rice with your order and the food is always hot. Today, for some reason, they forgot the shrimp in my Happy Family meal. I still recommend them though.

I got the Kung pao, hot and sour soup and donuts.
The rice is pretty bad, not gonna lie... but it's fine mixed with the Kung pao.
The Kung pao was DELICIOUS and you get a really big portion for the cost. I usually get Kung pao at panda express.... this Kung pao is way better.
My son loved the hot and sour soup and donuts.
I would just recommend to the owner, change up the rice so it's not so mushy and cheap tasting. I would pay an extra $3-5/ plate if the rice was better because the main dish was excellent.

I had never been to a Chinese fast-food restaurant, but Rice Xpress was my first experience. I went on a Saturday night, they were pretty busy. There were two ladies in the front. The Asian lady was running around very busy but glanced at me a few times with a smile. I waited for her to address me, and when she did, I asked if I could substitute one thing with another. Her answer was no. Everything is as it comes. Okay, no problem. I decided on the Shrimp Pad Thai, Crab Ragoon, and Egg Drop Soup. My order was done within a matter of ten minutes. I looked it over, tipped, and left the establishment.
The food was hot and good. The pad thai, which was well seasoned, had approximately seven shrimp. The Crab Rangoon was also good. I would go back 3/5. It's Chinese fast food, which was good and satisfying.

Fried rice is not good. It's like Minute Rice with a dash of soy sauce for color. Fried dumplings were trash. Egg Drop soup was ok. The only thing good was the sauce to dip the "pot stickers" a.k.a Fried dumplings in.

I wish I could have gave zero starts.... I walked in dead crkiets every where... It was a crkiet on the counter top and I said something about it the Asian lady got upset and killed the cricket with a paper towel and didn't wash her hands...🤮 Then I said to myself look through the small window and see what the Hispanic man (bigger one) is doing I seen him touching the fried chicken pieces for the sesame and orange chicken with his bare hands no glove no tongs nothing straight bare hands .... I wanted my money back but I didn't wanna argue with the Asian lady because we all know how they can get.... Needless to say I'm calling the health department and reporting them... They are beyond nasty and it should be known...

We just moved back to Fort Worth area, and decided to try Rice Xpress for dinner 🍽 😋 Last week I saw the menu, but went with Taste of Asia since they deliver (taste of asia location in saginaw is not good at all) we all enjoyed everything. I wish they had delivery drivers, but I will definitely be back!!! (I am not a fan of 3rd party delivery services) The staff was super nice on the phone and in person.
