Had a great visit to Riskys BBQ at Benbrook. Service was easy & friendly. Pulled pork was tender & just right. I asked for the Slaw on the side. Next Baseball Tournament I'll head back!
I really wanted to give this a higher rating but the food was just average. The brisket was cooked well but was not especially flavorful. I didn't like either of the barbecue sauces, which is unusual for me. The fried okra was the best side we got. The pinto beans were bland and a little undercooked. The banana pudding had an excellent flavor but there were zero banana slices in it.
Good food, fast service, decent price. They know how to cook and season brisket, just don’t get their beef ribs … they have no clue how to cook them, either burnt or overcooked and harder than a 2x4)
