The staff is super welcoming, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. They have a solid selection of drinks and some surprisingly good food for a bar — try the burgers or wings if you’re hungry. Live music on the weekends adds to the fun, and if you’re into pool, they’ve got tables too.

A tucked out of the wave dive bar I used to frequent a couple times a month for a beer or two. Maybe even a round of pool. It's not a fancy or overpriced place. Pool tables take quarters. Good luck finding a good straight stick. You know the kind of place.
The bartender will take your order, and serve your drink too. No kitchen menu so eat before you go. Always a welcoming group of folks despite appearances, mainly formed of 'party of one' popping in to see who's at the local watering hole, or to meet up with familiar faces. I've enjoyed chatting with guys getting off work as truck driver, drill rigger, or live nearby. All friendly...couple too drunk on occasion that needed a correction but I expect nothing less where cold beer still comes served in a can. Told ya, it ain't a fancy place.
Don't be frightened if a big group of people on motorcycles stops in. Never know what you're going to get at the River Bottom. All you expect from a dimly lit dive in a great location.
