These people DO NOT know how to cook! I swear they don't taste the food [hot food] they are serving to others. It's really too bad that this is the only choice you have to pick from. They really need to get real cooks, not someone who just applies and say they know how to cook. I have had to either go back to get a refund or just throw my food in the trash because it's not even worth it. Over cooked, under cooked, no season or flavor, just awful! This will be the last time I buy anything that is not a soda or juice in a bottle.

Very disappointed. I work on campus and went to get ice in my cup to take back to my office was told I had to buy a cup to get ice. Been doing this for the last 3 months.

This is located inside the trinity river campus on what use to be radioshack's former headquarters. You do not need to be a student or staff to eat here, they accept both cash and card. There are several different stations with their own individual food specialty. There is a hamburger station, pizza, deli, salad bar, potato bar (also includes nachos and meatloaf/pot roast some days) and a pasta station. In the burger station, they have "ready to eat" burgers wrapped individually for on the go. You can also go up to the grill and order a fresher burger (or add a certain cheese etc), this station also offers regular fries along with tater tots and chicken tenders. Next to this station is my favorite station, the potatoes/nacho station. Here you can get a loaded baked potatos, nachos or rotisseriee-stylee meals like meatloaf/pot roast/baked chicken. They do have a breakdown of the price of each item in a display on the counter. I really like the nachos here with your choice of beef or chicken but the meat is too bland for my taste. It needs more spice but other than that it taste good to me. The cheese sometimes does not get to all the chips at the bottom like how I like it so I always ask for extra nacho cheese and that does the trick. Following is the deli section of the café. Here you can find deli-style sandwiches, wraps, and some ready-to-go sandwiches already made if you are in a hurry. They have different meats and cheeses to choose from as well as different tortillas for the wraps. The pizza station is pretty basic, they sell pizza by the slice and they occasionally sell personal pizzas if there is not a lot of people in the café. They also have wings available for purchase, I believe some of these are already 'made to order' so its easy to grab and go. I did not get to try the pasta station because it was closed when I went but I noticed they were opening it after I had already bought my lunch grrr. From what I could see they have different noodle types to choose from along with protein and sauces. The center of the café is of course the fruit/salad bar. During my time visiting the café they did not have this available, from what the manager told me they only open the salad bar when classes are in session. So during between fall and spring semesters, they keep it close because there are not a lot of students on campus. Like I mentioned before, when I went there were only about 3 or 4 stations open because it was during the winter when no classes were going on. I did not get to try all the stations because of their limited hours when I went but you do have a big variety when its all open. To the far corner of the café there is a refrigerator with jello cups, pudding cups and some fruit cups for sale but I think they rotate the items in this case according to the season. There are soda machines with multiple options to choose from but I strongly suggest tasting the soda before filling up the cup because I once filled the whole cup and got to my table only to realize they had run out of syrup and all I got was carbonated water. Gross! There are refrigerators with bottled drinks to choose from and of course, there is lots of 'impulse items' at the check out counter like chips, cookies and candy. There is a starbucks coffee shop located here, while they do have the drinks you expect they do not have all food/pastries items you may want. In terms of taste the best thing in my opinion was the nachos and the burgers. During the academic school year it does get busy during the lunch rush but if you get there early it can be easily avoided. They only have 3 or 4 cashiers but the line does go by quickly. The staff there was nice, overall very convenient location and great food options.

I went this Friday Feb 7th after work and it was much cleaner than I remember it to be. I guess new staff or new management. I have always liked the food here. It is really nice to see the cooks making the food in front of your face. Everyone I came in contact with that worked there was very nice. And the check out time was fast! I think I will be going back agin soon.

Wonderful variety at lunchtime. Muffins for breakfast a little dry. Coffee bar has Starbucks coffee now. Excellent change.

The price is very expensive for college students, and management refuses to accept apple/android pay. The onsite manager told us in Nov. the system would be up and runninh, til this day its not.

Run by Educational Catering Inc, this cafeteria has lots of variety. Specials change daily, with a couple old favorites. The food is very good and the coffee shop is better than most. Also, the cashiers are awesome! (Okay, I'm one of them, so I would know.?)

I happen to have the pleasure of working with Educational Catering,Inc. and enjoy every minute of it. The food is amazing, cooked by real professionals who take pride in their work. To top it off, the staff, customers and the atmosphere makes a morning or noon meal an exciting and pleasant event without having to spend an outrageous price for delicious cuisine.

This is a great little place. I'm always unsure about trying new games, they always sound complicated, but the gamemasters do an excellent job of explaining the jist of it, and giving you that little push to just start playing.

As if downtown eating wasn't awkward enough, enter Riverfront Cafe. Located in the space formerly occupied by RadioShack's corporate headquarters, and now owned (leased? shared?) by the county college, Riverfront restores the cafeteria concept into consciousness. I'd like to get jazzed up over a real-life cafeteria, but I can't. Don't expect any culinary creations. On the positive side, everything I've eaten here was edible.
