Delicious and authentic Mexican tacos within walking distance from the Stockyards. Already want to go back for more!

I wish negative stars was an option. These good reviews are definitely from people who are family or know owners for sure. The food is horrible and the restaurant is nasty. They just had 33 demerits from the health dept and were shut down for 48hrs. They need to close this place for good..

The best food I had while in the DFW. Little hole in the wall joint that stays open late and makes the food to order. It takes a little while to get your food, but it's well worth the wait.

Horrible experience. Missing food in my to go order and when I go back to get it correct they refused to correct it even after picture proof.Go to another close by taco spot. Much better.

True Mexican authentic food, the original stuff all fresh cooked. Reasonably priced on the low side. 1 burrito and your full ! Bathroom not so good but it flushes. Speak some Spanish when you come to order. Open 7/24 for a breakfast burrito.

I enjoyed the food here. Very small quaint place, but service is slow. First time I went, the portions were adequate. I just went last week and I got a taco plate. I only recvd a half scoop of beans and half scoop of rice. I was not happy

Stumbled upon this place at 2:00am. We couldn't believe there was still a taco place open at that hour. To our delight, it was the most amazing made from scratch taco place I've ever been to. Highly recommended!!!

We found Rodeo Tacos on Sunday afternoon. The tacos were good, the salsa and hot sauces were better, but the conversation with the owner and girl working the counter were exceptional. The owner wrote her salsa recipe for me and gave it to me as we were leaving.

We always get our food to go but this is one of our go to places. Lately they've been having issues with menufy orders not going through but the two times it's happened they wrote the order down from my email and made it for me right then. They even gave me a couple extra tacos for the trouble. I have a lot of respect for the guys that work here. Most of the time it's just the one guy running everything. When it gets busy I can't imagine how overwhelming that must feel but I've watched him and he's very calm and just gets it done.

I typically don't give negative reviews or submit complaints. I know there are some situations that become unfortunate through no fault of anybody. But this was such a terrible experience, I felt compelled to say something.I arrived on a Monday night to pick up an online order but was told an order never came through. I showed them my email order confirmation and also saw my card was charged the order amount. Was told the order never came in and to order again. I said if I did that, I would get charged again, but they persisted. To see if there was an issue on their end, I agreed just to find and help them find the root of the issue. Placed another online pickup order there inside the restaurant, and they still didn't receive the order. My card was charged again, and I received another email order confirmation.Still needing my food, I actually had to press them to honor the order. They finally made my order, 30 minutes after I was to receive my original order. Asked multiple times to refund the second order they requested and was finally refunded with cash. This would've all been fine if the food was good, but mine was awful. Quesadilla I ordered had a pool of liquid collected at the bottom of the plate making it a soggy, inedible mess. Imagine a quesadilla dunked in water. Fries were soggy as well. Can't believe the positive reviews for this place. There are so many better taco places in the area you should check out instead.

I heard such good things about this place. I an a local and decided to try the hype. All the internet feed says they open at 11am. After working a night shift I showed up and parked out front… 10 minutes early. 11am rolls around and no lights or sign of business. By then an employee from AT&T showed up, two employees from Bell Helicopter…and some other couple…. waiting for some lunch. At 11:12am I called them and someone answered in very soft tone “hello”Me: “are you guys open today?”Rodeo Taco “yes”Me: “ok well WE are all sitting out front and there is no sign of life in the restaurant”BOOM they hang up!!I drove by after lunch (1:10pm) and still the ghostly appearance. Neon sign was not lit up nor were there any customers. In my opinion, there are many great options in close proximity. Do not waste your time! Two blocks away is a great staple, Dos Molinas. They open early, serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Senior plates and daily specials.

Literal hole in the wall. Best Mex I’ve had. I had taco plate with pollo, carnitas, camaron (chicken, pork, shrimp). Came with rice and beans. I scarfed it down. So glad I followed my nose and instincts! Nice people, too! Excited to see me scarfing their food! ?

I had the torta an it was so good It had avocado which is a bonus for me in it, and the green hot sauce is on point I recommend this place in the stockyards.

The food was excellent, but the service was definitely lacking. When we entered and began our order, I requested a couple of times that I wanted the quesadilla platter. The quesadilla platter comes with quesadilla, rice, and beans. So, I assumed he wrote it down. Then I ordered for my girlfriend and i specifically told them no onions. Well, luckily when he rang us up I happened to look down at the receipt before we paid and I saw that he only put down just the quesadillas not the quesadilla platter. I told him it's supposed to be the platter with rice and beans. So he "corrected" it and rang it up for the correct meal. So, we wait a bit for our order and it comes. I grabbed our food and walked out. It was too hot to eat inside so we ate in the car. When we got back to our car, I noticed that I didn't get my rice and beans and my girlfriend's food had onions. She didn't mind the onions and said she'd eat around them. But we had to walk back to the restaurant to pick up my rice and beans. Other than that annoyance, the food was great.

Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Not a lot of options for kids

Parking: Parking is across the street

Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility. The building is really small, I doubt you'll be able to get a wheelchair inside.

Dietary restrictions: It's all greasy and fattening, and made with bread. I doubt one would find anything to eat if you have one.
