Tried this place twice really wanting to love it. The location is great and the inside vibe and coziness is so nice. Both times my coffee was “just ok”. Not a lot of flavor, almost watered down tasting. The wait for your coffee after you order is 10-15 minutes which is perfectly normal and acceptable at a small coffee shop, but it seemed as if there was a lot of standing around happening vs. working on orders. Just can’t justify $11 coffee that’s “alright” when there are several coffee shops in the same vicinity.

Great coffee in a modern relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very nice, and the food options are great as well. Plenty of comfy seats and tables to relax, work, or meet with friends.

Tried vegan breakfast tacos, I wish I had the capacity to eat more. This was really delicious.
Thank you for knwoing how to make a "real" macchiato. Don't forget the sugar like I did, this expresso packs a punch, and did just the trick.
Will definitely return.

Me and my best friend came in around 20 minutes before closing time, but still overall had a good service experience!
I love the layout, it's super cute. Lots of workspace, natural light and plants and I'd imagine even when busy that it would be a nice space to come to.
When we came in, we were welcomed to the front to order and I was a little lost as this was our first time ordering here but we ended up getting a basic cappuccino.
The cappuccino art was beautiful, the wait time was short, but the taste of the coffee was very bitter and not what we were expecting. I'm not sure if lattes aren't normally sweet but would love to come back and try some other menu items that might work with my sweet tooth!
It was also pretty inexpensive!

I was browsing Google Maps for coffee shops, and saw this place. I remembered that it's been a while since I've been in. Why? The coffee was good, the shop was comfy and quiet. But the last time I went, the barista kinda made me feel like an idiot, and like I didn't belong there.
I was asking about flavor notes/roast levels of different coffees (as I prefer pour-overs to espresso-based beverages) and they were just like "uh, it's on the bag ?" (as it turned out, the bags were right in front of me, below the counter). Sorry I failed to notice them. Needless to say, I haven't been back since.

Loved the place , it was off the beaten path and reminded me of a “summer moon” vibe . I had a strawberry type latte that was amazing and this sourdough toast w agave and almond butter that was soooo yummy . The only thing I was surprised at was it didn’t have the personal friendly vibe from the staff . I waited on my toast dish and went up to get it ,with no one telling me it was ready. Other than that I loved it !

Cute coffee shop with great atmosphere! Staff was friendly. Plenty of tables and seating area for studying/eating. Tried their honey lavender latter and a honey pistachio muffin - soft, crumbly and delicious. There a few tables outside for outdoor seating as well. I like this area as it’s within walking distance to other shops and restaurants near by and there are plenty of street parking within walking distance too.

I loved the coffee and atmosphere at Roots! We met there for work, and it was really quiet and easy to focus on our project. I had a mocha and a chocolate croissant and both were great. I also had the breakfast sandwich, but that wasn't phenomenal. It didn't taste very warm, but it had decent flavor. Overall a good experience, and I would come back for coffee and to work anytime!
They have 2 hour max street parking out front, but spaces are limited. It's not generally busy in the area in the mornings though!

Cozy, chill local cafe. I liked the open space and window views. I recommend the lavender latte and strawberry rhubarb scone. Both are flavorful but not overly sweet.
There is a dedicated shared parking lot and some street parking; however, both are very limited.

Usually go to coffee shops to study and I'll judge them based on their actual coffee, the vibe/space, and the people the coffee shop attracts.-Roots has very tasty and strong coffee. It is also fairly priced.-Their music is not obnoxiously loud; and is very, very conducive for light background noise. I don't have to wear noise cancelling headphones here and its great for people that may be more noise sensitive/distracted easily.-The people I have seen here are usually working, studying, or are just there enjoying themselves pretty quietly.-The space is open and airy, but not too bright to blind or give a headache. It is also very cozy with velvet chairs and a separate area thats a couple steps more elevated.Overall: Love roots, wish I could catch more locations.P.s: Didn't try the food so not sure about that.

This spot has great vibes and super friendly staff! But, oh boy, the coffee, which should be the star of the show, was a total letdown. I tried the iced vanilla with oat milk, and it wasn't my cup of tea, especially for $7.50. BAD COFFEE!!!
