Cute cozy little spot. The sandwich was honestly pretty good. Definitely a twist to the regular chicken salad. It tasted like the chicken was bbq'd and used for the salad. It was yummy.

Oh my goodness!! I got the chicken salad salad (not on the menu). So delicious!! It was smoked chicken which gave it this really great flavor I've never had with a chicken salad. There were carrots,cucumbers, tomatoes, diced egg, dried cranberries, and cheddar cheese. I had it with balsamic vinaigrette but they have ranch and Italian dressing as well. The tea was fruity and refreshing too but a little sweet if you are used to unsweetened tea. I'm definitely coming back!!!Also a great price. Excellent place to grab lunch if you're in the area and can get it to go.

I have had their catering on several occasions some of which included the best barbecue I ever had. They offer a variety of cuisine and deserts at a very affordable price point. They are very accommodating to the clients needs and offer a degree of customization and flexibility that is amazing.

We have used Catering from the Heart on 2 separate events with real success at both events and now are regular customers. We operate a Home Care Agency and an Adult Daycare Center. The first time we used Ruby Lee's was for our Home Care Agency. I was trying desperately to impress my referral sources as well as potential clients that could use my services. I wanted to provide dinner complete with salad, lasagna, garlic bread, dessert and drinks. It could not have been more perfect and reasonably priced! When we exited our program regarding speech therapy, there it was. A beautiful spread that was not only presented elegantly but that was truly delicious! Try her lasagna... it is to die for, layered with copious amounts of meat, spinach and cheese. Everyone asked for the caterer's name and the evening was a real success! Next we had our Ruby Lee's cater our Thanksgiving dinner at our Adult Daycare Center. This is an informal event with a lot of pot luck dishes and wonderful deserts. However, the real star was the turkey prepared by Catering From the Heart! Juicy, not too salty and soooo tender. And the best part is we did not have to spend hours in the kitchen getting it ready. Now we use Ruby Lee's to cater our lunches at the Center. She is always fair and makes sure all of are veterans and other members are always satisfied and happy. I trust them so much that I autopay for her services monthly. So, whether you have an informal event or a formal event, Catering From the Heart can make it a real success! Hmm, I heard she also caters non events, when you're just to tired to cook. I need to try that at home!
I own a business not far from Ruby's and we love getting lunch from her. Home cooked food like your own Mama would fix up for you in her cozy kitchen. Every day she has a new lunch special. Try them all, you won't be disappointed! And the price is right.

A nice quiet retreat for lunch. Great sandwiches made from scratch in a small intimate out-of-the way location. My go to place for some peace during a hectic workday. Also the lemon cake is awesome. They provide nice simple box lunches for office meetings and events. Just call your order in advance.

This review is for catering and 2 visits to Ruby Lee's. I've attended several events that Trevia has catered. She is a great cook and very gregarious. You won't go hungry and she will cook almost anything you want Romantic dinners for two To 1000 person parties. My favorite to go meal is their salad in a jar. Fresh, crisp veggies and juicy chicken on top of dressing. Keeps well for days. The newly opened retail space is located in a neighborhood that is mainly fired chicken and convenience stores. A welcome addition to Lancaster and Oakland intersection.
