I will say I have a bit of experience with French cuisine having been born there and grown up eating home cooked French meals. Having said that this comes as close as I've gotten to getting an authentic and affordable French meal in the DFW area.We started with the soup of the day which was an asparagus soup and the steak tartare. All delicious, sufficiently sized to be able to enjoy but not overwhelming. Very, very fresh and tasty. For the main course we went with the magret de canard and the filet au poivre. The magret, was juicy, well seasoned and again healthy portioned. The sauce was not overwhelming as it can sometimes be and it complimented the duck well. The tenderloin was just as delicious. Be aware they do tend to cook closer to rare than you would expect however I would not be concerned as the quality is amazing. The beef was delicious and came again with a rich yet not overwhelming sauce that perfectly complimented the steak. We finished off with a creme brulee which was a delicious close to a well worthy dinner.

Quaint hidden spot in Fort Worth. Spectacular small atmosphere that allows you to forget you are in Texas, much less a large city. Each of the courses brought flavors that were unparalleled, creating a wonderful dinner that will be a memory for years to come. Make your reservation, show up, and let them handle the rest. You won’t regret it.

Didn't have the best experience here the other day. Went for a friend's birthday dinner. I was planning on not eating anything and just having a glass or two of wine because our reservation was well after I eat dinner. I ate beforehand so I wasn't starving. I was told I was required to buy a full $55, 3 course meal or I had to get out. The manager was obviously mad that we didn't want to all eat. Look. I tip well. I would have tipped on the meal price if I didn't have to buy it regardless. But there should be something that says "YOU PAY FOR YOUR SEAT OR YOU LEAVE" especially since the restaurant was not packed like we were preventing them from making more money. When I not so willingly agreed and got the full meal, my food was actually forgotten at first which was even more annoying since I did pay the pretty penny for food I didn't want. And my lamb was well overdone, but I didn't want to have to wait for it to come back out nor did I even want to eat it to begin with so it went home to my dogs. Our server was very kind, the manager and/or owner was the breaking point for us. I won't be back.

Wonderful food, service was great, it was a little noisy for our liking, but it wouldn't stop us from going back. Will be added to our regular rotation of places.

Service impeccable, ambiance wonderful..,cozy, warm, inviting. Food, not so much. My scallops were so salty, I could not eat them...where was the lobster and the sherry? They graciously replaced them with another dish...but everyone at the table was nearly finished with their dinners. I expected much more for a price fixed dinner.

Lovely atmosphere and the food was pretty good but didn’t quite hit the spot (may just be a preference). Price is pretty steep as well so make sure you do your research on the dishes before

Excellent service and food! Loved this place & highly recommend. The cocktails were superb! If you like martinis, go for the French Martini! We went for our 31st anniversary and invited our son and fiancé as they just got engaged. The perfect place as they met in France. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the fries had the best spice! The duck was also delicious because of the amazing cherry sauce. Save room for crème brûlée and coffee ice cream sundae. My son said it might be his favorite dessert ever. A very special evening for us.

Every year we try to celebrate the daughter's birthday in one of DFW's best restaurants. This year, we tried Saint Emilion at the recommendation of a friend. It was a good call. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was "Provencial" as advertised. Think small country eatery with tables close together. It reminded me of some intimate pubs we visited in Scotland. You could keep your conversation to yourselves, or meet the folks next to you. The soup of the day was Mushroom or Onion (of course). Both were approved by the party members. The onion soup was thick enough to be close to a stew. Probably the best I have had. The ladies enjoyed the mushroom offering with a generous quantity of sliced champions. We tried the Pate' and found it a bit bland for our taste. Lamb chops and filets were the main course. The pommes frites (aka French fries) were not a real compliment to the steak, but the portion was adequate. The salad was a mixed greens in vinaigrette served with Monchego and double-cream Brie. Pretty good. Desserts were the Baba-Rhum cake, Creme Broulle, and Tiramisu. Tasty enough. A party of three with two cocktails, upcharges for two filets, one appetizer, and three desserts came to $266.30 before tip. Saint Emilion was a far superior experience to that armpit called "The Mansion" in Upchuck Dallas, or Wolfgang Puck's old haunt at the top of Reunion Tower. Give Saint Emilion a try. Especially if your only experience with French food is La Madeleine.

Awesome, food, table service, the Lady providing drinks was a little... ummmm... not so welcoming, but who cares!Atmosphere was awesome! Probably the best French place in Ft Worth! Highly recommend you will not regret it. If you want a romantic dinner this is where you need to go!
