This was my first time here and it wasn’t particularly a great or poor meal. I’m not a huge crab-restaurant person, but I have had better meals at other crab/seafood places. We had the Captain’s Catch and the server told us that it was portion sized for 2 people and we were 3 people but it fit more to our price range. We weren’t sure the price jump from $80 to $120 was worth it for us. We also ordered calamari & coconut shrimp just in case the main meal wasn’t big enough. The calamari was not good, overcooked and a huge let down for a seafood place to not nail it. The coconut shrimp was awesome. The Captains Catch was great for taste but not for sharing really. 1/2 of crab is not shareable & neither is a whole lobster for 3 people. The shrimp in the main meal and mussels saved the sharing aspect. I would suggest ordering this a la carte if you’re good at knowing your portion size and such. I will say that our server Cece was what got this rating an extra star. She was so busy and did not leave any table hanging. She was back and forth and did not neglect anyone in there. She knew the menu back and front and made suggestions and was quick with everything. She was super busy and did not show her exhaustion or frustration at all, so that made a huge difference to our whole experience.

Bren was amazing! She helped us with the menu, served our drinks, and was so nice and easy to talk to. She really made the experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent food, and a nice bar, my server Bren was super sweet and attentive. Would reccomend for any couples looking for a place to eat.

We had a really disappointing experience at Shell Shack in Alliance. Service was extremely slow. We watched the bartender chatting with her friends instead of working, and it took a long time to get our drinks. When we asked a second time, she seemed annoyed.
When the drinks finally arrived, the waitress carried the glasses by the rim where you actually drink from—not sanitary at all. There was only one waitress covering all the tables, and we had to ask more than once just to get a fork. When they finally arrived, they looked dirty, and she was holding them by the utensil part, so I had to wipe them down myself.
The worst part was toward the end of the meal, when the entire staff sat down together eating just a few tables away like customers, while their guests were still waiting for service. Grabbing a quick bite is one thing, but sitting down and eating like patrons while customers are waiting comes across as very unprofessional.
On a positive note, the closing bartender was attentive and kept the bar spotless during her downtime—I wish we had chosen to sit there instead.

I had an amazing experience at Shell Shack thanks to our server, Mare. She was friendly, funny, and made the whole visit so enjoyable. Mare went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checking on us often and anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Her upbeat personality and great sense of humor really made our night. We’ll definitely be coming back

I put in an order through Uber eats and got the MVP which I have gotten before at a different location and was really good before but today I got the most scrawny little crab legs that I’ve ever had and tiny bitty shrimps. It tasted very fishy and I was actually really surprised because the last times I’ve gotten shell shack. It was not like this so I’m just confused as to why I got some anorexic crab legs this time being that I had to pay 50 something dollars for barely any meat is crazy. Just a waste of money. The sauce is super good though I won’t lie. I got the kitchen sink, medium sauce.
