It says they open at 5. That’s a lie. I tried to stop by before work at 5:10 and the doors were locked. The lights were on. And there were workers in the back. But no. They were not open. Quite annoying.

Athens Ga has no kolaches....cure this atrocity please. Otherwise we'll have to keep planning sales trips to Texas...
I had to update my review after my last visit. The donuts tasted like they were made yesterday; I hate to throw my food away because I started getting sick. The manager should give me a refund. There was one car in line, so that should have been my first sign. My second sign should have been when I got to the window and saw all the donuts waiting and sitting there to be chosen.. I will NEVER come back to this location ever in my life and if you don’t want FOOD POISONING you should avoid this place too

We stopped by this afternoon and they had lots of great donuts left. The owners are amazing and the apple fritters are the best in town. Better prices than other Shipley’s locations!

This is one of my favorite donut places. They have so many different varieties. I love the chocolate donut with chocolate filling. The sausage Kolaches are also really delicious.
