This food was so juicy and flavorful!! The staff was very nice greeted everyone as they came in. These guys know what they’re doing! Oh and don’t forget to grab you a cone ? for you and the kiddos ! ?‍?

I agree with Estella that left a review 6 days ago! Today around 445 pm was DISAPPOINTING! Second time here, first time was pretty good. The brisket was SO meh. The sides were just awful looking at the counter. Old and been there awhile. Mac n cheese looked cremated. The Okra looked like it was made at 11 am, the fries were old, the beans were dried out, the staff was sloooooooow and seemed irritated. I saw the guy at the “meat station” berate a woman for waiting in line for JUST an order of fries. Sheesh, just not good today. Not good.

Ray and his team did a great job communicating about the busy time they were having with deliveries, staff, etc. Good portions, great taste. Loaded Baked potato was very tasty. Ribs & moist brisket tender and full of flavor!!

Door Dash’ed to Cook’s Children since our kiddo has been here for 3 weeks. Wanted some BBQ. Man, disappointed! The kiddos loaded baked potato came with just pulled pork n cheese, no sour cream or sauce. Dry. My ham sandwich didn’t come with the required choice sauce. No sauce. Bland. Dry. Frontier Fries, looked WAY more appetizing on DD app, came with meat and cheese, again, sauce choice given on order and no sauce, no bbq ranch. Dry. Wife got ribs, DRY! Luckily, wife submitted a DD claim and got $14 of our $90 back. Definitely save your money if you’re thinking Soulman’s for dinner!

I've driven by this place so many times off of South Hulen and kept telling myself I wanted to try them. I've finally stopped in, and man, was I amazed!! From the first step into the restaurant, the greeting that I got was very welcoming. The explanation of the menu items was very clear and precise. I got the half slab rib plate that included; Half slab of ribs, Mac and Cheese, Cole slaw (were the sides that I chose) the ribs were amazing and very tender.

Soul Man’s is outstanding!! I regularly eat here and they never disappoint. The food is always great, the service is always friendly and the atmosphere is always enjoyable. Soul Man’s is a keeper!!!
