Above & Beyond – A Standout Subway Experience!

Stopped into the Subway on Camp Bowie Blvd W in Fort Worth today (9/1/25) for a quick lunch, and I’ve got to say—this visit completely exceeded my expectations.

We all know what to expect from Subway: decent sandwiches, decent speed. But this location? It stood out in all the right ways—and that's 100% thanks to the incredible woman working during lunch today. I didn’t catch her name, but she absolutely deserves some recognition.

From the moment I walked in, she greeted me like we’d known each other for years. It was like talking to your best friend—warm, upbeat, engaging, and genuinely kind. On top of that, she was fast, efficient, and clearly knew her stuff. The sandwich she made was hands-down one of the best I’ve had from any Subway in years.

The store itself was spotlessly clean, which is impressive given the challenging area it’s in. There are a lot of unhoused individuals around, and if you’re familiar with the neighborhood, you know it’s not the easiest spot to maintain a business. But this staff is clearly on top of it—they keep the lobby tidy, welcoming, and safe.

I work nearby and will absolutely be making this my go-to lunch spot moving forward. The lady working today is an asset to this store and the entire Subway brand. Someone needs to seriously consider her for a promotion—she would make an excellent team leader or general manager.

Can’t recommend this location enough. If you’re in the area, go here. You’ll be glad you did.

Big funky stanky attitude. Couldn’t even finish a sentence without the girl with a ponytail having an attitude. I had a question and she kept cutting me off. RUDE. Will not be coming back.

This is the worst Subway sandwich I’ve ever had. They messed up our order.. The website messed up things. On top of it, they barely put ingredients. The only thing that tasted good were the chips that are already in a pre-packaged bag. Pay $23 and they won’t even Answer the phone

Ordered 2 meals online app, and when you get there they don't have the chips you pick, and the drinks without flavoring, the sandwich wasn't bad i think they can do better

Ordered my food through the app at 6:50pm
Order tracker told me to pick up by 7:10pm
Arrived at store at 7:20 (gave a little extra time because people get busy)
Waited in the store for over 40 minutes patiently (and hour past the time the order was placed) and was treated like I was the problem
Save the grief and go somewhere else

This location has dropped in performance extremely over the last 7 months. My Carry-out order is always Terrible, A younger gentleman use to work here with dreadlocks very nice and always offered my daughter a free cookie. Really miss that guy. This location needs to up its game like they did in 2023! Very good customer service, just bad product.

Ok, let me say first, that this is our our local Subway and have been going here for a good minute. Unfortunately, there has been a staffing change. My sandwich, like the last time we ordered, was barely filled and that after I paid for extra. We gave extra time for pickup, arriving there 15 minutes after our scheduled pickup time. Sandwiches were still not ready. And I still was not going to leave a review.....but... the churro I ordered must have been sitting there for at least a week. It was so hard, I couldn't even bite through it. I really thought they may have given me a cardboard churro. This is not a critique on the lone employee doing their best. It's for the franchise owner. Staffing shortages effect quality. Fix this please. We will be going to a different location until it is fixed.

The location was clean, the food was great, and the customer service was probably the best I ever received at a subway. Wendy did a great job with my order. She was patient, kind, seasoned up my sandwich perfectly, and actually seemed happy to help with my order. She made a small mistake, gave a genuine apology, and seemed happy to correct it with a smile. 10/10 experience we need more people like Wendy in the world. Thank you for the great experience. I will definitely be back!
