My husband and I went here a few days ago & it was WONDERFUL. I had 2 sushi rolls, the shrimp tempura and the Eastern roll, both were delicious and freshly made. My husband had the chicken fried rice- the dish was very well made, the chicken was mostly breast meat & cooked perfectly, but he was not a fan of the sweet sauce that was put in it. He prefers it just plain. We both got a small cup of mushroom soup with a clear, flavorful broth as an accompaniment to our meals, it was really good too. I liked it though. The ambiance was quiet & the employees were friendly & professional. The only thing I could say that I didn't like is that the sweet tea was like liquid sugar, almost syrupy. I will definitely go back, though!

So happy to find such tasty and high quality sushi close by! The Fort Worth roll and the Red Lobster roll were absolutely delicious. Their sashimi is also high quality, fresh, and tasty. Great date spot.

Traditional Japanese restaurant with great atmosphere and great service! We stopped in real fast for a quick date night sushi dinner and appreciated the prompt service. Food was delicious and we will be back for more. Hope to see this place take off and become big, the potential is there.

There was only one other couple in the entire place. The server was super attentive. Our rolls came out on a little pair of boats which was neat plating. I didn't care much for the mushroom soup. But the rolls we orders were great. Had the spider, ocean fantasy, and the supreme sushi entree. All of the fish for the sushi was very nice and flavorful. Highly recommended for the price and service!

Had a very nice Sunday lunch here. The service and food were all excellent. We tried the BMW roll, which had about 10 pieces and was very tasty. We also had the beef and shrimp bento boxes, which included soup and salad beforehand, a separate bowl of fried rice (with egg), 6 pieces of California roll, 2 pieces of gyoza, several pieces of tempura including two shrimp tempura (which are typically extra elsewhere), and half an orange pre-sliced. It was all excellent and more than we could eat, so we will get to enjoy some leftovers later!

We were excited to see this new Restaurant coming to the Westover Hills area serving sushi and Japanese cuisine. It is a welcome addition to an area specializing more in fast food. So we gave them a try last night and really enjoyed it. First, we were greeted with warm friendly smiles and greetings by the hostess and a waitress. We were just picking up some appetizers for now as I had prepared some fresh rockfish fillets at home and wanted some delicious sushi to go before the main meal. We weren't disappointed. We got some sashimi of yellowtail Tuna, flying fish roe (Tobico) and sushi of eel (Unagi) and surf clam. You get 2 pieces per order. We also ordered tempura soft shell crab. The portions were not the biggest but everything was absolutely fresh which is vital with sushi orders. It was beautifully prepared and presented. Oh, for eat in diners, the decor of this brand spanking new restaurant is beautiful. The owners spared no expense in decorating this place. It is very nice. Prices are not unusual for a well run Japanese restaurant. A nice touch is that they have a hibachi grill and offer beautiful fillet minion and other steaks including surf and turf if you want. Probably the best value on the menu is the Bento box with a ton of food and variety too for $20. Go give them a try. We liked it a lot and are returning soon to have dinner. On my 3rd visit to Sushi Japanese House I decided to sit at the Sushi bar. Nice soft Jazz was playing and lunch time was a good time to escape the heat and hubbub outside. I decided on the Combo C lunch which offers 3 Sashimi, 4 Sushi and a California roll and salad for $16. So also tried their cold sake which was refreshing. It was deliciously fresh and so beautifully presented I had to grab a photo. Come by and give them a try.

Rating based on service. The food is great but the waiters/waitress/cooks are so slow. We waited half an hour or more to get our drink and food order in. They kept forgetting food ordered and did nothing to make our stay easier. Based off service I won't be returning.

Would 10/10 recommend this place. Excellent dessert, excellent sushi, and even more impressive staff. Our waiter was a little busy handling at least 7 tables at a time and I myself would NOT have pulled it off nearly as well as he did. I would give more stars if I could. Definitely would go again

This place was one of the better sushi places I've been to, and I've been to a lot. Each piece of sushi that we ordered Was more flavorful than other places. Service was on point and the staff was great with children. They even gave us rubber banded chopsticks so the kids can use them.

Wonderful service and the food is utterly fantastic. The vibe of this restaurant is awesome as well. Great for a date, a few drinks with friends, or just a night with the family. Clean, bright, and an astonishing atmosphere.

Found new place for great Japanese cuisine! We just had the bento box lunch at this new restaurant near the JRB in Ft. Worth. We entered the restaurant and found it clean and smelling fresh, no odors or sticky floors. We were graciously seated and prepared to be served after we ordered from the menu the house bento box lunches! When we got our food, lunch isn't the word, it would be more appropriate to say it was a mini-feast! We couldn't eat all the lovely food arranged and presented like I used to see in Japan and Okinawa back in 1971. The photos don't do justice to the quality of taste and freshness. Bobbe, my wife, had the Shrimp tempura box, again the shrimp, cauliflower, squash and fried onion ring were tremendous. You don't have to go further than this place to get great quality food and customer service like it should be! Next time we try dinner menu! Go here!

Great service and great food.! We love Japanese cuisine and we were able to try a variety of offerings from this restaurant. We had a veggie tempura appetizer - very fresh and crispy with flavorful dipping sauce. We had a tempura roll (which was ok but not for me), a salmon roll (my daughter devoured it) and super white tuna sushi (superb). Presentation of the sushi was nice as well. We also had chicken hibachi and shrimp hibachi which were also very good. The flavoring in the chicken was tasty and the shrimp were huge and fresh. We then moved onto dessert. I had the green tea ice cream which may be a new favorite of mine and my girls enjoyed strawberry mochis. It was very clean when we ate there and our server was very sweet to my girls and attentive.
