I had not been to a Taco Cabana in a very long time. They are different in Texas than they were in New Mexico. Sunday morning and they have breakfast tacos so we stopped. Very different menu than before. We asked for a couple things that they didn't have that were on the menu. We ended up with a bean & cheese taco and 3 beef tacos. All were very tasty. My hubby wanted onions but they don't carry them. Decent salsa but no heat. I'd be willing to give it another...
It was great tonight. What I mean is that tonight someone cared about getting the food done right. The woman at the drive thru repeated herself several times to make sure she understood what the kids and I wanted. The cook also was polite enough to double check that he understood what the woman was asking for. All that to say is when we got our food it was just the way we wanted and it was delicious. Thanks goes out to this crew tonight. To bad they got rid of the green salsa....
This location often seems to be short staffed. The staff is always friendly and the food is always of good quality, it just often takes a while for it to get made. Hubby had a large steak quesadilla. I had a steak bowl. Both were so good. Then we had dessert too. I had sopapillas. He had the new peach empanadas. He LOVED them. They were a bit too sweet in my opinion, but that's just me.
