The very 1st time I walked in for a take out order. From 1st contact, the customer service was warm and welcoming! 2nd trip back same day I had the ground beef taco and Chipotle brisket taco. Although the food was prompt and the customer service was GREAT! The meats were dry and bland. I was looking for the smokey flavor of Chipotle brisket, but it was dry even with the sauce. Taco Heads is a decent restaurant with pretty good food! My Wife, friends and I stumbled across it when we went to explore the Stockyards. We all ordered a different appetizer: Queso, Guac and Fire Salsa all with chips! They were all good, especially the Fire Salsa! The chips were also bigger than regular tortilla chips and tasted fairly good. It had all the vibes of a good restaurant - what was lacking was the quality of the service. I frequently stay at the hotel next door on business trips and come next door just to see Kara behind the bar! She makes the best drinks and is always a good conversation! Highly recommended this place just for her :)
