Tacusa Tacos N Pupusas

I've been coming here for years and have spent hundreds at this location but my last visit will probably be it for me. I asked if everything was there in my to go order and was told by the tall Latina with the thick glasses that it was. I dove into the rush hour traffic to get home with it hot. Ten minutes and half way back I get the call that she had forgotten two orders of elotes. I drove the ten minutes back thinking oh great now my food will be cold. Who wants to waste money on cold food? Anyway, I told the lady that I didn't appreciate the time and gas wasted and suggested another free elotes would make up for it. She acted like she agreed and walked in. I waited in the car for 10 minutes before heading in and asking where the elotes were. Then she just looked at me as if she had not understood at all. I handed her the now completely room temp food and asked her to please heat it up. She started to say that can she have my two orders of elotes back? I was like "What? Just heat up my order as that's practically the least you can do." She then proceeded to do that with a sour face as if it was a huge favor. Appalling customer service and a terrible attitude to go with your mistake. Absolutely no urge to make up for it at all. Talk about not giving a hoot for one's customers.

First, these tamales were huge, so I was okay with the price, BUT come to find out they are 95% masa & only 5% chicken. TERRIBLE! No reason at all to be that size. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Hopefully this was part of a bad batch, because if not, you can’t say you haven’t been warned.

The food quality has improved over the years. The tacos are better, and so are the popusas.

Order was incorrect. Tortillas were supposed to be all flour as shown on receipt. Charro beans had good texture and flavor, however too salty. Meat was plentiful and had great flavor. Just wish staff would read order and double check before sending it out for delivery.

I’ve eaten here since they opened and have the number saved in my past 3 iPhones. That being said the past 2 times the papusas were dry, and overheated like they left the freezer, microwaved and then cooked. Gave them one last try tonight. After driving over to order because they disconnected the phone line I ordered 7. Attached are the images that prove no different from my last 2 visits.

Tacos on Tuesdays and Pupusas on Wednesdays. Tortas on the other days of the week. Good local spot for tacos and pupusas.

Pupusas are great , and gorditas use to be my favorite there until last time I had a couple which where disappointing. Not sure if it's new way they're making them or if something wasn't done right.

Pupusas were delicious and were hot. Just know that you will be waiting for a good 15-20 mins to get them. Just know they are definitely worth the wait.

I am Salvadorian and i can tell you what this place hits the mark with the Salvi flavor profile. The pupusas are made to order, they have yuca with chicharon. They also have Tacos and those are right on the money. Salsa bar, curtido, and all the right sides to go with food!
