Owners are great and the food is awesome and affordable. Been here many times. Definitely worth it and 100% zabiha halal.

Very good food and large portions. The lamb biryani was tender and tasty and large enough for two. My son ordered coconut chicken curry and loved it. The garlic naan was excellent but the veggie samosas were a little spicy. I would give 5 stars but they are set up more for take out as we dined in and we were served on styrofoam with plastic utensils. Also all beverages were in cans or bottles, no fountain drinks. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I will order again probably as take out.

Fairly new place, still arranging the restaurant to portray a homely environment. I ordered Fried Chicken which was dubbed as broasted chicken even though it was undercooked. Proper broasting would give a crispy exterior and juicy interior cooked all the way to the marrow. My second order was the special of the day, Chicken Biriyani. Now, this is where they redeemed themselves. It was a good rendition of the dish with the spices blended to provide that subtle balance in the dish.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Today, I ordered lunch through Seamless.com, an online food ordering service powered by Grubhub. I've order food from this place before and the food was at best, edible, but I wanted to keep supporting them because it is one of the few "non-American" food places in far East Fort Worth and it is less than 2 miles away from my home. I'm a software designer and I applaud small businesses who offer an online solution. My experience with the one-eyed owner of Taj Kitchen was TERRIBLE. I kindly entered the lobby and straight to the front desk to introduce myself and my intention, pick up my online order that I paid for online. This idiot proceeded to tell me that I didn't have an order with them and I DEFINITELY didn't pay for it online IF I did order online, Grubhub drivers are responsible for delivering my food to me and THEY pay him so he couldn't give me anything on my word. Being almost OVERLY considerate as usually I let him have his rant and he goes to the back, ask the ladies cooking in the back if they got an online order and then stays back there. This fool tells me that it must be some other Taj Kitchen I ordered from or I'm lying! I quietly open my email to show proof and when he finally comes back to the front I show him my receipt and ask him HOW MANY Taj Kitchens are on John T White???!!! This idiot proceeds to tell me I need to talk to the Grubhud driver about my purchase because it had nothing to do with him! I'm seething! What Grubhub driver, I'm here to pick up my food you old fool! I mean, here I am trying to support his broke a** business who, during my first visit there ever, I ordered a broastered family meal, overlooking the fact that they had NONE of the sides listed on the menu AND I had to finish cooking the box of legs and thighs they gave me for mixed chicken meal price because the chicken was still bleeding! Still, I overlooked that, told them I was happy they were there and that they'd go a lot further if they'd concentrate on offering a more Indian menu and not a "broastered" chicken menu. I mean we have too many fried chicken places within 2 miles of that place as it is. I told them if they'd offer the Indian menu throughout the week and not just the weekend I'd be sure to come again... That one-eyed owner was rude as hell, accusatory AND in the end, my food was back there already bagged up and ready to go... This a****** told me that none of this confusion was his fault! I told him, "No, whose fault it isn't is mine as the customer because his business dealings should be seamless to me!" He didn't apologize or anything! And all of the sub-standard meals from the past came racing into my head! These people need to shut it down! There food is overpriced for some "broastered", bleeding legs and thighs and dry, bland batsmani rice! Don't expect good food or service here. Trust me, I put in the work to try to support them and even OVERLOOK obvious flaws but no more! Don't waste your time! I ended up getting wings at the Wal-Mart across the street. If I thought the one-eyed fella had the intelligence to understand, I would have immediately asked for a refund but I had a conference call in 10 minutes so I hadn't the time or patience to explain it to him!!! I did however call Seamless to complain. Enter Taj Kitchen at your own risk! I'm sorry for the long review but I had to get the experience out of my head and into yours! Consider this an act of compassion... You're welcome!

Delicious authentic Indian food! Chicken is non greasy and tender and seasoned well. I get food here almost every week. Portions are generous and they give extra pieces of chicken for free too !

This place has a kind of split personality, with the name indicating Indian food, but the wall menu showing hamburgers and fried chicken. We have so far tried only the Indian food items, and have been here at least 4 times in last few weeks. Food is good and seasonings seem authentic. Our favorite is the Paneer Saagwala.

Was skeptical at first, as this seems a fried chicken place with an Indian-sounding name. However, as we felt lazy and did not wanna cook, we ordered to go chicken curry, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and veggie samosas. Everything together came at $16 - a very good price. This earned them an extra star. Food itself was alright - not great or authentic but good enough for a quick dinner. The curry was very oily but tasted ok, the biryani and samosas were actually quite good. Portions were generous. Since we live nearby, it's nice to have a decent Indian-ish option in the area.
