We were in town for My Boyfriend's Birthday and wanted a Good Soul food lunch. He ordered Oxtails Cabbage and Macorni. I had Neckbones ,rice and gravy with yams.Sides was ice cold and taste like they came out the can .Meat Had No Flavor at all.Even the Kool-aide was Horrible.Money wasted.Would Not Return

Not going back. Oxtails were falling off the bone but no seasoning and they weren't hot. I wanted some greens but these were way to SALTY. I brought it to the young man's attention so he wouldn't keep giving them to people. When I asked if he tasted them he said " they were good just right on the edge of being to salty." ?Cornbread was crumbley and cold. Kol-aid was too sweet, give me instant diabetes sweet. My parents had the sweet potatoes. They were ok but came from a can.

Ate here twice before when they first opened up and food was good. Idk what happened but they definitely have went down hill...today ordered Catfish, mashed and fried okra. Food was not good...bland and tasted old or they using old grease...okra burnt, mashed potatoes was decent but cold. Hubby had Catfish as well it was bland, he had mac and cheese it was awful ? our kids had chicken nuggets and fries and it was all disgusting...? the nuggets were gross and clearly fried in old grease... The tartar sauce, ranch and hotsauce was nasty...the canned drinks tasted old put them on a cup of ice...had stuff floating in my cup smh a waste of $54.00 for my family to eat...won't go back again....The young guy in the front customer service was decent besideseverything else....

The portion size are big. Its better than any fast food chain around the five mile distance. They are really friendly, and they can help you out if it's your first time there. It is a cash only when I was there. But you really don't have to go far for a ATM either. The price of food is reasonable.

I normally don’t make post unless it is inevitable. I spent $32 at this establishment and was very displeased with the food. I don’t know if I caught them on a bad day or if the cook had a lack of concentration due to it being 100 degrees outside and the establishment had NO A/C. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans (they were out of Mac &cheese) and the Oxtails with cabbage and sweet potatoes. On The steak order, They put mashed potatoes and cabbage instead of green beans. And the oxtails had mashed potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. I told him the order was wrong he took the plates. Brought them back NOTHING WAS CHANGED. He then proceeded to say he put the correct Sides in a separate container. I was like ok so. It was hot I was there for a while and just wanted to take him at his word.The steak was store bought frozen patties with white gravy that looked like dirty sink water. The cabbage wasn’t seasoned and the sweet potatoes or yams were HORRIBLE. The Oxtails were the only thing that was ok. But salty. I dont live close to this place so I wasn’t going back. I threw it all away and settled for cotton patch instead
Their smothered chicken is amazing. We were told to try Juicie's after eating here and were very disappointed. So we immediately came back to Tasby's.

I went in this place to get a fish sandwich, did not get à greet to take my order. Got talked to real bad and didn't get to get my food at all. Making the black community look bad in business very unprofessional I will never go back to this place.I do not recommend at all.

This food is very disappointing. The pork chops are dry and baked with a lot of gravy they're supposed to be smothered pork chops and seems to be some kind of mushroom gravy not from scratch all the vegetables taste like canned vegetable ins box macaroni very disappointed only thing that is decent the price was $12 I guess you get what you pay for

Walk in, was not greeted, employees hanging out on their phones, left to get cash because it's Cash/Cashapp only. Although it is an ATM inside. Customer service is Awful and food was not hot, asked for cornbread got hard roll, was expecting fried cabbage received bland boiled cabbage. I could have given my $24 to a local Charity. Sweet potatoes and Baked chicken was good that's it.. Owner please look into getting some professional & peoplefriendly staff that want to be at work ?
