I believe I've already posted how awesome Texas Pit Oyster Bar is for delicious oysters and food! The service was outstanding and the mileu so pleasant. Definitely a keeper for me! I will go back for sure!

I came for the oysters and wasn't disappointed. I had oysters Rockefeller and oysters Laredo. They were both very good. I would come visit again.

If you’re expecting real seafood it depends on what you order. Ordered the combo with fried oysters and clam strips, extremely disappointed. The oysters were about the size of a thumb nail, the clam strips, well, look at the picture, kinda forgot the clams. And it wasn’t inexpensive, couple of beers each, dozen oyster and my wife’s so-so fish tacos. $100 with tip, don’t think we’ll be back.

Can’t believe it took me this long to find this place. Amazing crab legs, popcorn shrimp, and service. Can’t wait to come back.

Oysters were pretty good. The catfish we ordered was, while well cooked, wasn't seasoned at all.

My wife and I went on a Sunday around 1-2pm and ordered the 6pcs buffalo wings....she had a soup (clam chowder)and salad also we had a dozen of raw oysters. The oysters were great but realistically $28.00 is a bit over priced for raw oysters just saying if char grilled with toppings then I can see it but just plain raw was like ummm ok..
The salad mix well lettuce was old.
The 6pc wings were pretty good...the sauce was great..I think they should've been fried a little harder to maintain their crunch...but they were good..
The table was dirty had to wipe it once I sat down no biggie...but they literally have sauce on the walls...not a one off because this is our 2nd time coming and it was there so thats pretty interesting 🤔🤔. We had 2 micheladas they were pretty big and they were good ($5.50) pretty good price ..overall our total was $65 with $10 tip $75....was it worth it no...we kinda had regrets after we left like that we would've been more satisfied if we would've went to Waffle House...for way less the cost

We were in search of oysters on the half shell and this place is awesome. We ended up getting a second dozen because the first was so good! We also got the fried okra which has a slight dusting of what might be brown sugar. Slightly sweet, nothing overwhelming. If you’re not into that, you can probably ask them not to sprinkle that on.
Full bar, and most important-Shiner on draft.(which everyplace in Texas that serves beer should have)
We live 30 minutes away, but we will be back.

We had Jayce for our server. She was very very sweet and prompt. She always made she we had what we needed the whole time. Will definitely be returning. The food was amazing and the chef was great! Loveddddd the shrimp cocktail it was my favorite.

Absolutely first-rate food and first-rate service. The girls at the bar were outstanding.
