Usually the food and service are really good. This time, the service was slow, and the waiter was not attentive at all. He was nice but only came to take our order and give us the Togo box. Steak was cooked wrong, and the chili was horrible. I always get the chili, and I don't know if the recipe changed but it was not good.
I want to say I normally order the Dallas Filet, and am always happy with the meal. But this time I decided to try the filet medallions. Do NOT order the Filet medallions! Our server said they were the same as the filets, just 3 pieces of meat instead of one. NOT TRUE! I could only eat one of the 3 medallions do to the fatty meat. The reason I always order a filet is basically no fat. Not so with the filet medallions. In fact, now that I think about it, it was not 3 medallions,...
The food and service was great. We joined the wait list and got the text to gather our party and come inside to be seated. We came in and it was a mad house. We ended up waiting another 20 plus minutes after we came in. They also don't have any seating inside like most Texas Roadhouses do. I looks like they took it out to expand their take out section. The wait for food was also kind of long compared to other Roadhouses I've been to. Definitely not my favorite location.
