The Boiled Owl Tavern

Went here with a friend a couple times... Tipped a lot of our money to our bartender...never again coming here and wasting money on someone who's just going to be aggressive and rude towards us during being there. The Bartender was absolutely rude to us and kept slamming down drinks in front of us giving us really dirty looks after. I don't know what his problem is there's no reason for it. Apparently this is an ongoing thing with some people with the reviews I see so idk why this guys still there if he's going to be rude to customers. I really wish we could come back here again we love the atmosphere and everything else, but don't see us doing that because him. Seeing the owners response to some of these reviews he clearly doesn't care.

Excellent place, I drop in often and they always have what I want alcohol or not. Live bands great location right next to the new resturaunt opening soon Tres Amigos. It's always nice and cool in there with pool table, patio and great people..

Super cool laid back crowd! Everyone was super friendly and acted like they knew each other!

Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and was ignored by all 3 bartenders. Oh well.

My wife says it’s the best bar she’s ever been to.

Amazing staff and a great place to hang out with friends. They have snacks and a variety of drinks of all contents ? A homey tavern that welcomes all!!

Doorman name "drago"? Not sure his name but he kicked out my friend for simply having a bowel movement in the bathroom. After knocking on the stall and harassing him asking him various questions. He suspected drug use. But after the person was done, told him to leave. This guy needs counseling.

Drinks and atmosphere is great but the bartender is a giant douche for no reason. We gave a tip of at least 100 in tips too... never coming back again. Everytime he game me a drink he slammed it down and looked like he was about to fight me..

Really rating this primarily for the MONDAY NIGHT KARAOKE. But Cody at the bar was a good & efficient Bartender. You can "bring in food" (several options on the same street), but they offer nothing but chips & slim-jims. Still, a very relaxed place, w/ a younger eclectic crowd, ABOVE AVERAGE SOUND SYSTEM and terrific host! You will get in 3-4 songs all night (if lucky). Good solid 4 (could be a 5 if they had decent food and a waitress or 2). BTW, terrific patio. I'll be back! First few singers win a free well drink... starts about 9:30
