I think we caught this place on the wrong day. Sat at the bar and it was clear they didn't have enough staff. Took a while to order drinks, then took longer to order food. Ordered nachos...came out cold. We think they would have been good if they were hot. While the food and service were off this day, we liked the menu and will give it another chance. Will update my rating accordingly.

I love purple frog but the manager Jalen is so rude. I’ve seen her not only mistreat guests, but employees as well. It’s a shame that someone who is clearly unfit for a managerial position is in a role such as this. Disappointing.

Way too loud to make a good impression on a 1st timer. But everything else
was great. The food was awesome. The waitstaff very personable. I would go again on an early weekday when it would be quieter. My party couldn't even hear each other.

The prices are good for the food but, the food is terrible. My food came out undercooked. I was told it's because they were busy. That was their excuse. My server was good but the atmosphere can be a little crazy. The drinks were really good. Other than that I can't recommend this place. I wish there were more places in the circle to choose from. Stuff closes early. Lots of college dudes throwing up on tables and driving home intoxicated. I would not eat here again.

Excellent service. I was there during happy hour before all the youngins came in. 😊 The waitress was super nice and helpful explaining the drink options and helping me decide on sides.

Sat up front for over 5mins waiting for a server to acknowledge our party was waiting for a table. Once they finally acknowledged us, they asked us how many and proceeded to go clean other tables and once cleaned never came back to us. Disappointing as I was looking to try this place for the first time.

The more things change , the more they stay the same … or worse ! Children pretending to be servers . If you desire bad service and worse food may I recommend The Purple Frog !

I been here before about a year ago. And it was awesome! I went last weekend and we were very disappointed. The catfish lacked flavor. The nachos only had beans, guac, and sour cream. And the beans were salty. We got some drinks, didn't finish them. And the tab was really high for something I could've made at home for a quarter of the price. And significantly better! We more than likely won't be back! Which is unfortunate because we loved it the first time.

Would give zero if I could. Stopped in today with a party of 5. The manager Jaelyn was unhappy because we asked to have 2 tables put together since they weren’t busy and it would allow us more elbow room than a four top. We Arrived prior to 3 oclock but wasn’t waited on until after 3. When placing our order we were told since it was after 3 that the lunch prices weren’t in effect any longer. When the waitress mentioned this to the manager, Jaelyn came over and told us in a condescending tone that the computer automatically charges the higher price since the order was entered after 3 o clock. I inquired as to why we should be penalized because we were not waited on until almost 3:10. She said there was no way to override the prices.

Another issue was when we asked to have 2 potatoes with crawfish instead of a potato and corn. We were told there was no way to sub on specials. I asked if they could just ask the cook to put in a second potato and keep the corn and was told again in a condescending tone that it wasn’t possible.

We had a person in our party that also works in the service/restaurant industry who was absolutely appalled at the way the manager handled the situation.

Unfortunately due to their lack of professionalism and in particular the manager’s attitude towards our party, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

In a good location off Bluebonnet Circle near TCU. Has had many iterations in the near 20years I’ve been in Fort Worth. Drinks are cold and the cocktails are creative. Haven’t had a lot of food, so I can’t speak to that. It’s an easy place to stop and chill on the covered patio.
