Food wasn’t good and I had expected more with the Peach Porkchops but I could have put my own canned peaches on them myself.

Singing Chef is one of those rare spots where you can taste the care and attention to detail in every bite. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. Every dish is beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and clearly crafted with love — you can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience they create.

What really sets Singing Chef apart is the personal touch. The team goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels special, and it’s that genuine passion that keeps me coming back. Whether you’re celebrating something or just treating yourself, this place delivers excellence with a smile.

Even though the listed hours of operation state they should be open...THEY WEREN'T! THEY left a handwritten sign saying they would be back at 5PM even though my hunger pains needed food at 1PM.

I definitely recommend The Singing Chef Cafe. Food was excellent. I thought I left my credit card and Sammy went above and beyond looking for it, even viewing the security footage and digging through the trash! Amazing service. Go to this restaurant- you will not be disappointed!

I am very much real and left my review based on the overpriced subpar quality of the food and the poor treatment of one of your own employees i purchased a crab cake po boy that was mush, fries and a watermelon kool aid the thing that deterred my from any further visits to your store was the poor treatment of your very own employee as i waited for my food i proceeded to hear you verbally attacking this woman to where every word can be heard from the dining hall from the moment i pulled up to your store you and her sat outside and you looked physically upset you had a costumer willing to spend money even tho yall have been sitting outside with a empty store to yalls backs this store is scattered with pictures of a rude owner who has made it more a shrine to himself and failed musical career then caring about the costumer the food or even his own employees so in conclusion I am very much real sir I have very much visited your location and will not return and instead of fighting everyone online to worry about your empty store and your own “scum” behavior goodluck.

Dang good groceries! The chicken fried steak was the best I’ve had in years! Was also lucky enough to try the smoked catfish and it had such a good and unique flavor. Highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING local, specialty diner owned and operated by a gold-record-toting chef! Sammy Fox has created an incredible collection of great food that epitomizes the soulful nature of this man! Everything I have tasted at this great restaurant has been delicious, surprising, and very different. Try the chicken fried steak that has a VERY different and VERY delicious set of seasonings. Try the honeybun hamburger that you have to eat with a knife and fork but was delicious! The savory meat and cheese combined with the sweet, toasted honeybun was NOT what I expected. I thought I would be put off with the sweetness but was very pleasantly surprised at the combination and the individual taste created. The smothered catfish was insanely good and the crawfish etouffee was heavenly! I cannot say enough about this man and his restaurant - you have to try this place!

We’ve been curious about this place for a while a glad we finally decided to try it. The chef may not be singing while he cooks, but we sang when we ate it.

The kids meals were really reasonably priced and the standard menu is delicious and a value for the generous portions.

I ordered off the test kitchen menu, which was a little pricier, but absolutely worth it. I got the fried pork chop with peaches and hot honey. On par with something you’d pay 1.5-2x as much for at a restaurant with linen table cloths. Ended up getting three whole meals out of it too!

Word of warning: beware of the pudding. It almost broke up my family because I only ordered one. The flavor will haunt me, and I’ll inevitably be back later this week for more… I just may not tell the others.
