We’ve been wanting to try this place and it was a great experience, from the Asian decor to the welcoming atmosphere to the food. We got the Shumai to start off and it was pretty good. I suggest having the sauce on the side if you’re not into really spicy things. My friend got the beef bowl and it was delish. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the sauce had a great flavor. You don’t get much protein, so next time he wants to order it with extra meat. I got the west side Ramen which was yummy. The broth was ok, but the noodles were good and plenty. I got the pork loin since I always get the pork belly, so it wasn’t as flavorful. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and/or want to eat good food.

Love everything about this place except for how slow the service can be at times. But it's also always packed, so I get why. Did the omakase this past week which was absolutely great. Love going here, but always try to go at off-peak times to avoid the crowd.

I love this place, we go weekly. But if they were to ask for constructive feedback I would just comment that the consistency isn’t quite there yet, but it’s never been bad and if there is an issue they don’t make you feel bad for mentioning it and that is ALL a human can do when a mistake happens. :)

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service! I highly recommend the TanTan—just be sure to ask for less spice if you're not a fan of heat. I eat here regularly and have brought several friends along to share the experience. This place never disappoints—truly epic every time. If you dont eat pork or beef, they can switch it out for other options, you just gotta ask. The atmosphere is lively (maybe a little too lively)—some folks clearly missed the “how to behave in public” memo. But hey, the food makes up for the noisy locos

The food was AMAZING!!! The service was also great and we got our food in a very timely manner! I got the build your own bento box for only $11 and it was sooo good! The atmosphere was also amazing and the decor was so cute!

Highly recommend this place! Hama Chili was my favorite! Beef bowl with poached egg was awesome. Fries were a 10/10. Ohhh and let's not forget the heated toilet seats in the bathroom!!! Pleasant surprise

I had high hopes for this place since it has GF options but definitely not worth the $115 weekday lunch bill. My daughter said she’s had bigger and better sushi rolls from Kroger. Sushi rolls were the size of a quarter or smaller.

The poke bowl was like a small bento box for $16 ( Lunch price) but if you want fish, it’s extra per fish type. They charge you extra for avocado (other places I’ve been include avocado in poke bowl) and GF options. After adding protein and avocado, 4x 6x2 box (not bowl) for $19.

I had the GF beef bowl that consisted of white rice and 1 oz of beef. I asked the waitress and she said that’s the portion they serve. I ordered more beef for $3. Again, 1oz of beef swimming in teriyaki sauce.

My husband liked his noodle dish.
Wouldn’t waste my time driving here again.

By far the best dining experience my husband and I have had here, and we love to eat here every so often. Steven took great care of us and made excellent recommendations, as he always does. We now have new favorite dishes! The seared salmon and brussel sprouts will be my new go to. The roll of the day was the best we've had anywhere, peppered and seared ahi tuna with apple, avocado, yuzu, and fried shrimp. Hoping this roll gets added to their menu! The staff and food are always amazing here, but tonight, we were wowed. See y'all next year Tokyo Cafe!

Had an amazing dinner with 7 adults 2 kids. Wait time was as expected for that many people. Chef Kevin took the time to show my nephew around the restaurant. Very friendly staff all around. Host was very warm and kind. After a short 20 min wait on a busy Monday. Our waiter was very friendly and very attentive to what we needed or wanted. Tok fries and Stir-Fried Edamame, dumplings all were great! Most of us got tan tan ramen and some got yakisoba. Food came fairly quick. Everything taste great. Over all 10/10 would recommend!!

Parking: Parking is fairly easy. With their own parking lot and also additional street parking it’s pretty easy.

Kid-friendliness: Chef Kevin Martinez took the time to entertain my nephew. Showed him around the restaurant. Very friendly when asked for straw and extra Plates for kids.
