Loved the food and the service. Excellent taste of all the food, and Vanessa was an excellent hostess with great suggestions. We received a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Very kind people there who helped with our visit. It was a Monday evening so possibly less crowded than at other times, and a great experience.
The food was not great for the price point. The lamb was really fatty and the chicken was burnt and super dry. The only good food was the swordfish dip and brussel sprouts. Don't waste your money. Go to a different steakhouse.
Two of us oder the wedge salad. It was presented beautifully. A little extra dressing was required. The taste was delicious. We followed with salmon which was served on pureed cauliflower. There was a fig jam on top of the salmon and some bok choy. At the table a sauce was added to the dish. The taste of the dinner was delightful and within 20 minutes I became very ill. We went to a movie showing on the roof and we were unable to stay until the end. i don't know if it was the richness of the dish that made me sick or not. My friend only ate part of her salmon and none of the cauliflower and bok choy and her stomach was fine. We both had only water to drink.
We arrived 6 minutes before our reservation with an elderly family member and they would NOT seat us. We asked to be seated and just drink water until our actual reservation time....,NOPE, They did accommodate moving us to a quieter and better lit table when we asked. Service was a bit slow...both bar and food. The Aji Amarillo Ceviche was outstanding as was the Smoked Swordfish Dip. The Kale Salad was average, not awful. The snapper entree was outstanding. I would be willing to return and try out their Happy Hour offerings,
Dinner at Toro Toro was amazing! Our server Bea was so friendly and attentive — she made the whole experience even better. The food was incredible, especially the sweet corn empanadas (highly recommend!). Everything we ordered was full of flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more!
From the atmosphere ,to the service ,to the food 10/10. Me and the wifey celebrated our 6yr marriage's anniversary here last night and ask requested they provided a great experience. Champagne toast on the house set the mood before the delicious dinner was serviced. The drinks were stiff and the selection of alcoholic beverages available was mouth dropping also the prices for it lol but it was expected. I definitely recommend the Toro Toro Churrasco for 2.
My wife and I went here for our 11th anniversary. Everything from the greeting by the host, to our waitress, the food, was outstanding. The bison appetizer, that the host recommended, was one of the best foods I've ever had. Will definitely be back.
We had Bee has our server and we have zero complaints. We came to happy hour on Thursday and the tequila flights were amazing price. The food was great. My plate was literally empty when I left.
Went for lunch and there was no host to receive us and the bartender from what I assume is the restaurants bar (since Toro Toro is in a hotel lobby) didn't even acknowledge us or get us seated. We waited 10-minutes until a young man came over. It turns out that he was also the Server to the other three tables that were seated in the restaurant. He was kind and efficient and comped my delicious Toro Toro burger after they put cheese on it when I specifically told him I am lactose intolerant.
My wife and I both ordered the 8oz fillet, hers rare and mine medium. Her's was perfect. Mine cooked correctly, but was like eating leather...tough and gristly. I brought it the manager's attention after I paid, as I expected him to offer comps that I did not want. He did offer. I just wanted him to know so your experience can be better.

The food was delicious, but the selection was limited with no fruits or desserts available. The kitchen service was excellent; the cook anticipated our needs and even brought our plates directly to the table. However, the waitress could have been more attentive. When we were seated, she strangely asked, "You didn't want water?" instead of "Would you like water?". To top it off, the water we received was warm, not cold, plus she never came back to refill our drinks.
I have already left a review on yelp and google so it isn't worth reposting the exact same thing, but put simply this was an awful experience. I have never felt so small and insignificant leaving a restaurant after I arrived so excited. We came to celebrate our anniversary (we have celebrated at Toro Toro before many times) and left deflated. For diners with any food allergies beware, my allergy was not a top priority and almost ate something that would have made me very sick. When I brought it up to the staff, both the manager and our waiter made a joke about it (instead of actually acknowleging the severity of it) and then went on without actually talking to us or answering any questions after. We had to get our food to go by the main course because our top priority was just leaving. The day was ruined for us and we are having to try and celebrate our anniversary again next weekend somewhere where we will be treated well.
TORO TORO does not disappoint. A Latin-Japanese fusion dining experience focused around steak with amazing Antojitos, fresh flavors, execution was spot on. Server was attentive and well educated to enhance our experience and make good selections on our first visit. We will definitely return.
Wife and I enjoyed everything they have to offer. We will definitely come back another time.

Great food and a true dining experience. We’ve been here a few times before and each time has been a delight. Budget a few hours of just sitting and enjoying the food and company. The drinks are good (especially the mezcal). The sides are great. And the steak is phenomenal. We get the tomahawk ribeye for two. It’s lit on fire and doused in bone marrow butter. Delicious. And there’s a desert called the Bombay…I won’t spoil the experience but it’s fun.
Free parking with validation and cool hotel too. It’s a vibe.
