Tacos the size of your palm, hardly any meat, no salsa...., no plasticwear.., how do i eat the beans and rice with my hands? The burrito is the size of a dollar bill and hardly any filling for the price. If you want to get ripped off eat here, sadly not even the flavor saves this food. The birria meat has an astringent taste very bitter.

I get to pick a place to eat once a month for work, and at first this spot was one of my favorites. My husband and I would DoorDash it all the time, always asking for no onions. I hate the smell, taste, and texture of onions. The rest of the torta is amazing, but the onions ruin it for me. Lately though, every time we order—whether through DoorDash or in person—my food still comes with onions. At first we blamed it on not being able to talk to the restaurant staff directly, so I started asking my husband to go order in person. Every time he goes in, the lady at the register is rude and always on the phone. If he asks for extra salsa, she gets annoyed. One time she dropped napkins and my spoon on the floor while packing the bag, scratched her head aggressively, then tossed everything in the bag anyway. I tried to ignore it because honestly, the torta is good when they get it right 😭 (what can I say, I’m a fatty). But it sucks that this is the place we want to enjoy a couple times a month, and instead I’m dealing with onions every time, rude service, and frustration. At this point, we’ll probably stop going and I’m really sad about that. If Taqueria Cortez was closer, we’d definitely go there instead, but for now this was the closest decent Mexican food we could get. I had a picture but there’s no option to upload 🥲 I forgot to say my husband always orders the birria tacos and also asks for no onions but they always have them. 😭😭😭😭

This is my go to for lunch and dinner. Great staff always a smile and pleasant. And the food and choices are top notch. I recommend the tacos or the chicken fajita burrito. Oh and the Elote!!! The best!!

Food was fine but staff was unpleasant, they have chilequeles on the menu but wouldn’t serve it to me. It wasn’t busy so they weren’t sold out. She assumed I wanted mild sauce but when I asked for it spicy I received some weird attitude. Get rid of the unpleasant staff who stare at their phones and if they are not staff and are part of the owners or management they need to learn to be more hospitable and welcoming. This is closer to my house but I’d rather drive another 3 minutes in front of Albertsons to kind people

Worst tacos in the world I door dashed this place gave us no hot sauce for 9 tacos 😒 would understand if they weren’t dry but they we’re extremely dry and salty would not recommend at all when I asked for hot sauce they gave me 2 little containers for 9 tacos and the limes were dry I don’t know how that happens but definitely not buying again

I moved to Fort Worth a year ago and have always purchased birria here. I used to brag that this was the best place in town for that. The woman who takes the orders with the blonde hair and horrible eyelashes is always rude. But today not only was she rude but the food was horrible and had way smaller portions. I’m never coming here to spend my hard owned money again. That lady needs to learn some manners.

When Tortas DF first opened, the food was amazing. Over time, the quality has completely tanked. The last several times went gotten tacos, they were terrible and the meat had obviously been sitting around for quite some time. A far cry from fresh! We ordered two trompo taco plates today. The rice tastes rotten, the refried beans are watery and taste old, and the meat on the tacos is sparse, dry, crunchy, and burnt. Just awful. I'm not sure why things have changed so drastically for the worse, but it's super disappointing and definitely no longer worth the money. All of our neighbors have also shared the same negative experiences. Going forward, we will go back to frequenting the taco stand in front of the gas station by Albertsons.
Just ordered from here for the first time. Was pretty disappointed. The bread was over cooked and instead of having cilonto and onion on the side like the pictures represented it had very little on the sandwich.. Just the fact they would send after clearly seeing the bread was burnt Just shows they don't even care about thier own representation.. Unfortunately it's not giving the option to upload the pictures cause they are sad..

Ordered from this place on uber eats and was supposed to get 2 breakfast BURRITOS and 2 taco plates with 2 Mexican sprites. When I picked up my order it only had one soda and BURRITOS were literally just breakfast tacos. FOR $9.99 each!!! I told the lady working there this wasn’t right and she said she couldn’t do anything and I needed to contact Uber. I did not take the food and got ripped off my money. I’ll never order from this place again and their food is super basic just ordered because it’s close to my neighborhood.

Ordered from here for the first time off Uber Eats; they had a BOGO deal going. My fiancé and I got the carne asada fry burrito and I ordered a cup of the elote. Everything was just okay. The burritos barely had any filling for something that is meant to have carne asada & fries in it. The meat was dry, and the pico was pretty much just onion. We also didn't get any salsa with them. The elote was literally just mayo & corn. No cotija, no chili, no lime. It wasn't the worst I’ve ever had, but I def won't be spending my money on this place again.
