Ordered to go at 7 pm on a Tuesday. I was surprised the food was no better than it was. The grilled Red Fish was very dry, grilled squash acceptable, okra was whole pieces grilled until hard and almost inedible, the étouffée unremarkable, greasy and without rice. Had it been delicious, it would have been reasonably priced.

2nd time to visit this eatery. It was was a late Sunday lunch so we were at the end of the crowd. Good timing & all went well. Had the catfish platter. We were charged $1 to substitute the fried okra for the French fries.

tricky fish is a bright and vibrant restaurant w fantastic food. usually go early in the evening and there are always people at the bar. the dining area is hit and miss as far as being crowded, but we've never had to wait to be seated.

We like to c I me regularly until recently. Not sure if there's a new cook in the back or what. This is the second time we've come, and our fried was dark and soaked in grease, blackened fish was so dark and hard it was not pleasant to eat, and okra tasted burned. Super disappointed as we brought guests. Unfortunately, we won't be back for a while. The server was awesome.

Had to advise management that there was a small, actively crawling roach on my table top. Unfortunately, as a top ranking contributor I have to share this information.

We have only ordered take out from here, but we’re not impressed with the food quality or dishes. We tried several appetizers, fish and chips, and a creole inspired entree. Fries were soggy, fish and chips were bland and under seasoned, and their appetizers were ok, but nothing to scream about. The staff seems nice and they have a nice atmosphere, but we won’t be back for the food.

Always fresh seafood. Try the Tricky Fish with blackened red fish.

Though we were told the oysters on the half shell were fresh, we did not realize they meant fresh from a container. They were various degrees of firm with a slight twang. Disappointing container oysters at half shell price. Fried shrimp tasted from frozen and somewhat over cooked. Our search continues for fresh seafood.
